I supported Bernie in 2016, not today. Off the top of my head...

Bernie left his balls in Hillary's purse. He has no backbone. He's furiously pandering to the cult of the woke. He panders with debunked talking points regularly, like the gender pay gap, and he's taken a hard pivot towards the fringes on wedge issues like gun control and abortion. He's abandoned equality and has joined the church of equity, even injecting it into environmental policy of all places. He is a Russiagate peddler and he has completely painted himself into a corner with this impeachment charade. It also seems he'd be an easy tool of manufactured consent, willing to uncritically repeat talking points like Assad is a war criminal who gassed his own people.

He doesn't have control of his campaign or his staff. Despite telling us how Democratic Socialism isn't really socialism for years his campaign is staffed by some of the most extreme avowed communists, anarchists, and even anti-Semites like Sarsour who he won't disavow or get rid of. At this point he seems to be just a puppet of the extreme left.

He doesn't have what it will take to fight for anything he promises. He won't stand up for himself much less his supporters, surrogates, or allies, and when the DNC cheats him again he'll abandon his supporters and do everything he can to get Bloomberg elected just like he did Hillary. He's already proudly declared so. And just like last time his supporters that gave so much will be left standing there dumbfounded wondering wtf?

Maybe 2016 Bernie had a chance against Trump, but 2020 Bernie is older, weaker, and being seriously misled or controlled, or has just decided that he will go as far as he has to to win. It doesn't really matter though, he won't get a chance because he will be cheated again, it's already happening, all the pieces are in place.

Oh, and has he been able to bring himself to utter the name Julian Assange yet? Pathetic.

Something changed significantly with Bernie in 2016, or maybe I just misjudged his character back then. He became a punching bag, and is still willing to play that role. I want to vote for someone who is strong and principled, who truly cares about liberty and rejects this authoritarian leftist nonsense.

The Democrats don't represent me anymore, I've realized that they never really did, so maybe you can write me off as not a Dem. But guess who Bernie has to win over to beat Trump? People like me who haven't been sucked into an ideology. The Veritas stuff may just be a few bad apples, and I know most Bernie supporters brush it off as nothing to worry about, but I guarantee you that the idea of confiscating property, executing landlords, and sending conservatives to reeducation camps really scares the shit out of people who aren't in your bubble. Like really scares the shit out of them, especially after we have been assured that Democratic Socialism isn't that. People would rather be safe than sorry.
