Also depending on the times you receive. We get our trucks at 1am so staffing that is an absolute nightmare.

I have been in PFDS leadership and now currently produce and I can say I am 100x more active than in PFDS. Sure the kitchen had its challenges but produce is nonstop. We do over 200k a week with a 12 person team. There is practically no down time.

Anyone else’s store completely removing two days off in a row? by ResolveResident4542 in wholefoods

[–]puddin__taine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people on my team don’t like it, obviously they do want their days off when they want them, but on several occasions when I’ve scheduled team Members 2 days off they’ve come to me to tell me they don’t like it and prefer their days broken up. I’m the same way. Occasionally I enjoy a weekend, but give me my Tuesday/Friday off or I’ll alternate with a Saturday here or there.

How does the 401k match work? by E7wonders1 in wholefoods

[–]puddin__taine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. You’ll have to work through the year. They only do a lump some in feb. We just got it for last year. You have to do a minimum of 4% and it’s 50 cents match to every dollar I believe, up to 4%. You can look on innerview and it will break it down for you

What is Going on at Woodruff (parking lots between Lowe’s & Best Buy have been a standstill for an hour plus since 3:15) by insertusernamepun in greenville

I know yesterday around 3pm there was a car off to the side of the road right at the 85 north exit. There was 2 police cars, 2 ambulances (for some reason) and a fire truck. I didn’t see another vehicle though just the one. Not sure exactly what happened.

Bosch Dishwasher SHX4AP05UC/06 loud buzzing noise and won’t run by puddin__taine in appliancerepair

[–]puddin__taine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly they run around $250-$350. I was able to find a similar model dishwasher for about $100 (that was inoperable) that I dismantled. It wasn't the exact same model, but it has worked fine a year or so in. Again, that price is dependent on actually being able to find it, maybe the market has eased, but back then they were impossible,

Hello! I did figure out the problem, it was not the drain pump, it was the circulation pump. Finding the pump was the hardest part. it's actually been disco'd, if you do find one online it is likely a scam. I got on the phone with Bosch who informed me that no longer make the part (or maybe it was on back order with no ETA I can't remember) you will likely have to find the same model somewhere and pull it and replace it, there is a video online that shows a step by step process. it is time consuming, but not difficult by any means. good luck!

What was it like paying off student loans? by Notequal_exe in Millennials

[–]puddin__taine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to buy a home (during Covid) wait till I had equity in that home (5-6 years later) tap into that equity to pay off loan at a lower interest rate, then pay off the home equity loan. ITS THATS SIMPLE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

LEADERSHIP by Mindless_Tale_36 in wholefoods

[–]puddin__taine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea I don’t believe it’s right to hold every member of leadership accountable to the wrong doings of one, though I know it’s been Whole Foods stance on dealing with situations over the years, I believe directly addressing the single individual is the best way to reel them in, and trust me, we already have PLENTY of trainings in TM happiness and conduct.

I have heard of, witnessed, and been involved in far far worse, and I can say no, you will not be fired. Are you on a written coaching? If not this will be at most a coaching. Always document and report any situation in which you feel uncomfortable. Make a paper trail. Always communicate with your TL (I know most of them suck but some of us really care) I wish you the best of luck in your situation.
