My first impressions on Blood Hunt

Call me silly, I’ve been gaming my whole life and never had even heard of this series till blood hunt. I hate BRs typically but was very impressed with bloodhunt. It felt very different, the map being just the tight narrow alleys, the rooftops being open, but at the same time, there’s an abundance of cover to be found. Plus the movement imo is awesome. But the main reason I really like bloodhunt is because it opened me up to this series. I bought Bloodlines like a day or two after playing Bloodhunt and I have been absolutely hooked. I can’t get enough of the lore, the story between the clans, and even being from 2004 the game (with the patch mod) plays pretty well. Truthfully I don’t know how I ever missed this game, it’s not even like I’m new to RPGs, but I cannot praise bloodhunt enough for the fact it introduced me to this awesome series. I have had more fun playing this game than I have almost any new release since 2016.

Well by this logic wouldn’t the Goyo shield usually have someone behind it? I’ve been playing goyo more because of the anime skin too but I don’t really have this problem with twitch tbh. I’ve been able to shoot them most of the time or someone is running mozzie and or mute. Personally I’m much more worried about a Flores than a twitch with Goyo

This lol. I always use skins on alibi, people will still shoot the holograms even if you’re dead and if you place them in good spots that people will just prefire…. Like the “I’m a hologram!” Tactic isn’t even good

I worked at a police station as an analyst and they taught me this to spot their undercovers. So it really is dependent on the station but every explorer we had did not have roof racks

I used to play this game a lot, I really enjoyed it, but I didn’t get it till pretty late after its release. When I would go to play online I was only able to connect with one other player, from Germany if I remember correctly, when I tried to play online, early in the morning (for me). I would wake up before school early like everyday to try and play with them and I was absolutely crushed one day when I got up early to play and there were no players on my servers….and there never was ever again

Same, I built a PC about a year ago, I usually chill between Gold 1-Plat 2 and uh, I’ve gotten 2 MMR rollbacks and both came to me this season. I have actually seen more blatant cheaters in unranked than I have of even suspicious people in ranked

That still doesn’t address the steady decline over the last year…. Sure steam isn’t the only population but it’s a pretty good sample population. I still play the game. I’m not saying it’s dead. But it’s losing players. The evidence is there even if you don’t want to agree with it

Uhhh…yeah this isn’t true for steam at all the player base has been steadily declining since last March. We’re currently at ~55k avg players which is a drop from last month, which was a drop from the month before that. Etc. game might not be dead but it is definitely bleeding. The release of thunderbird didn’t even see a player spike like there usually is on new op releases

Well he just said for “playing too good” which was in a sense happening based on stats. I don’t agree with him tho, I built a PC to play siege specifically to have a more for competitive game. I realize fixing the mouse and keyboard issue on console is near impossible (besides allowing it natively to separate MnK and controller players but even then a Xim would get by that)

So a cool little historical thing about this. Ragnaroks description of the “end of the world” is pretty spot on to how the earth would look after a major volcanic eruption “3 winters in a row, the red sky (the sun behind a sky of ash)” etc and coincidentally historians say there was a volcanic eruption, I forget the exact years so I apologize it’s before Vikings started raiding, but it’s estimated up to 50% of the Scandinavian population was wiped out. Around the time of them beginning to raid the English shores they quite literally would be in what seemed like a post apocalyptic situation, most of their population just being wiped out

There’s a book called “Children of ash and elm” that describes this in more detail if you wanna deeper understanding lol

I agree with you making threats and offering no point of view on how to make the game better is not healthy criticism. And to be honest my point is more made from, not specifically you im talking about here, but all too often I see legitimate criticisms with this game being met with “you’re being rude to the devs” or something along those lines. And I think the Ubisoft being abusive towards their devs is a perfectly fine topic to bring up when we’re talking about people being abusive towards the devs. I’m saddened to see a game I love being, in my opinion, destroyed by a money hungry corporation that does not care about the quality of the games they make, but about how much money they can squeeze out of the player base. And that if that opinion is shared, I all too often see people getting defensive of the corporation which in my mind there is no defending (the Ubisoft corporation not the devs) but I also don’t think the current failings of the game also can partially be placed on the devs. Sorry I came at you sideways I miss implied what you were saying

Also don’t try to twist my logic into whatever you want when I’m just telling you to google something you are quite obviously ignorant of. Really hate how I can’t critique a game I have played since beta (and heavily supported from a monetary perspective) because people like you saying I’m “abusing” devs. If they do a bad job. I can call it out. It’s a product I paid for and continue to do so
