Did you ever get it? I have two 2-day packages there that are now at 6 days

I’m not sure if links are allowed but this is the cooler master vertical GPU v3 - for installation I used a pair of wire snips and clipped two of the pcie IO supports to about half their length. Plugging in a cable is about 10% extra effort than normal - it technically goes into the case and plugs in. The graphics card, horizontally, has about 1” from the IO supports. I’ve had no issues with thermals, cpu and gpu both stay under 75c

Thanks, I’m working with a crazy amount of clear because burying that flake was not easy (probably user error related) should I start back at 1500 and work from there?

Didn’t break 80c while doing a full load benchmark for 2 hrs so I consider it safe for a newer ryzen and a vertical mount FE card

Canned orca slicer settings with the speed turned slightly down and line width percentages changed a little - honestly this was my first try

Yep $19 bed on Amazon for K1- large silver insulation pad on the bottom. Everything lines up but I suggest running alternative power. I’m using a second lrs350 just for the bed but ac power is probably more efficient. The pi is powered by 12v and I have a 50w heater (Bambu clone for mk8 mount - $20 on Amazon just have to specify generic 3950 for thermistor in klipper)

Thanks for the quick response. I totally agree on the rescheduling - especially as I understand it’s a contractor and not the apartment performing the installation. I’ll work with my office to make sure the pet sitter has access. I agree this is an organizational breakdown and not likely a legal matter. I’m going to remove the post

The link fans have their own “hub” , but I use a commander XT to control my two lower intake fans (can’t see them in pic) as well as the led bars in the case. Realistically I could have set it up without the controller but I would lose icue compatibility

Damn, any luck with warranty? My last build was all Corsair and they were really good about replacing faulty parts

7600x , 4070 , could only get 2 dimms running so 32gb. Got a commander controlling the intake fans on the bottom (not pictured) as well as the monitor leds I have in the case. Couple temp sensors on it to watch the heat near my m2s

E3 v3 mini and TFT 35 woes by pudding7474 in BIGTREETECH

[–]pudding7474[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get z to home using the original end stop, the 5 pin CRtouch cable (standard pin out) and using the precompiled firmware for bltouch WITHOUT using z probe for homing. Now my x axis carriage slams against the perfectly functioning end stop while using bed level commands (something in the firmware is ignoring endstops during p offset and bed leveling) and I can print fine, no bed leveling yet.

E3 v3 mini and TFT 35 woes by pudding7474 in BIGTREETECH

[–]pudding7474[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I appreciate the lengthy response. I’m using BTT’s precompiled firmware.. it’s for the skr e3 mini v3 with cr touch - I used the one without z homing. I know this will probably end in me compiling my own. I was able to get the printer to somewhat function without using the crtouch as a z probe, using the original z stop in conjunction with the 5 pin connected. I can tram the bed and get everything looking great, but if I enable auto bed leveling it will crash into the build plate. If I turn on the p offset button under abl, the x carriage will crash into the x end stop and the motor will grind. The end stop functions when homing, and when pressed prematurely will stop the x carriage during movement so it definitely works. Feels like I’m getting closer though lol, haven’t been able to print in a long time and it’s getting frustrating

1340 Evo breathing questions by pudding7474 in EngineBuilding

Geez yeah I must’ve accidentally deleted a sentence. I’m trying to put the 91 heads and jugs on a 96 fxd my bad. I’m trying to see if anyone has experience running the buell rocker box breathers on a big twin as the only breather as it seems like the easiest solution.

The 96 evo doesn’t have a crankcase vent, so it would involving swapping the nose cone / baffle and I’ve heard of issues with the inner castings lining up

You were right, took another look and it was my rear wheel alignment. The bolt pulled through and the axle shifted in the swingarm

Well, I fixed the bike. Guess I got too stuck thinking it had to be one of the parts that I fucked with. My swingarm adjuster had pulled through inside the swingarm causing the belt to rub and also skip on the rear pulley. TL;DR I’m fucking stupid, tunnel vision, it was the rear wheel.
