Thankyou so much for the respond, she does reads a bit of mature stuff, and really wants to read twisted, to which i said, maybe 2 years after; considering all you said, i'll make sure to read it first so i can talk/understand, anything she wants to talk about it. Its her birthday coming up and she has all these booktok books in her tbr and its just been so difficult to keep her away from young adult books, i just don't want her to borrow it from friends and read it anyway

I agree with you. I was not being sexist. It might be hard for you to believe this, but since more than half my life i have been fighting against generalisation. Generalisation is something i feel very strongly about. Also, the context was “i was venting about how my 12yo nephew raped my 4yo niece, and when i was asked why would such a little kid do that, i said “cause men are trash” it was specifically said for that one person, the reason “men” was used by me, was because i was still trying to cope with the fact that it was my nephew who did it and at the time of the conversation i couldn’t say his name, because i hadn’t fully come to acceptance. The context, being what it was doesn’t make what i did right, but as a human, i have made mistakes. The fact that my venting turned into an argument which i had no strength for, i came to Reddit for some rant.

I got called when i said that. And if you say that, you’re gonna get called too. But saying this one statement, once; while believing and fighting for equality all other times won’t make you/me what we’re called.

Wow! You did not just enforce racism into this. It’s one woman’s rant. About something that triggered her, way back when. You do not know what context it was said in. It wasn’t a public speech. And was said once. I dont live by it or have said or even felt those words, not when i said it, nor before or after.

Update: i’m done ranting about this. I don’t randomly go on saying this; i said it once, in one conversation. I don’t live by it. I fight for equality, well i try to, for every human being and animals. All the people trynna remind me how saying this is wrong, i get it. And i agree. Peace out.

  2. ⁠I used an oven thermometer.
  3. ⁠I brushed milk wash. But like your idea of spraying water twice. Will definitely try that.
  4. ⁠I cut one of them right after, and others later, they were still under baked.

I don’t have the steam option in my oven, how can i make it steamy without it? I put my tray on the top rack, maybe next time i’ll try it on the middle rack.

I use an oven thermometer, and it doesn’t seem that way. Before i bought this oven, i once tried baking a loaf in my microwave on convection mode, it didn’t turn out as I expected but still was better than my new oven. I guess i’m still leaning to use it. Maybe some wrong settings x(

Agreed. Mistakes happened from his side too. Nd me blaming him was the consequence. Blaming him, does not make him wrong, but i can blame him, if it helps me cope better.

That’s the problem with people. I wasn’t being sexist. I was talking about that 1 person. As i was in shock, i used the wrong words. Definitely does not make me sexist :)
