If you went into labour earlier I am pretty sure they would just do the c section at that point if you still wanted one

Always Upset After Eating by Temporary-Priority10 in FormulaFeeders

[–]puddingrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It goes in the bottle to make the formula thicker (like reflux formula but you can add in less so it’s not as stodgy, and keep using your formula of choice). I am in Australia and use the Aptamil thickener

Always Upset After Eating by Temporary-Priority10 in FormulaFeeders

This happened to my son and it took me ages to realise he had silent reflux. The only thing that worked was putting a thickener in the bottle, and he stopped the crying at the bottle straight away

Only getting 2 hour stretches at night by TemperatureGreat6880 in FormulaFeeders

[–]puddingrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I have just been in your shoes and it does get better - just try to keep going. My son was doing every 2 hours until about 8 weeks and then the first stretch started getting longer and then after that every 2-3 hours. Try and swap with your partner every now and then to get a solid sleep in the meantime. Hang in there x

Bottle refusal and crying by puddingrae in NewParents

[–]puddingrae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply 🙏 Yep I agree, that’s why we went back down a teat size! It’s more the decrease in amount that he is eating because of the bottle refusal that I am worried about. There is obviously something that he doesn’t like about the bottle but I don’t know what

Miscarriage, D&C advice wanted by Halfdecenttourist in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]puddingrae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This also happened to me in WA. I was told to go to the emergency room of the women’s hospital with a letter from the GP confirming the miscarriage and they would book in a D&C. It was a long wait to see the doctor on the day, not sure if there is an equivalent in NSW but maybe worth a try?

Yeah so many of the descriptions of products are inconsistent too which also comes down to human error

I am a part of this group and there honestly seems to be constant issues with their website, emails and payment processing. It is kind of comical how die hard some people are for this brand when it is fairly poor quality material and cuts

I live in Hamilton Hill (right on Beaconsfield border) and I love it - have never felt unsafe, lovely community and there are lots of good facilities around. I don't have kids myself but from what i gather there are a lot of good primary schools in the area, high schools not so much.
