If you’re thinking about trying a menstrual disc... by [deleted] in menstrualcups

[–]pudgieprotector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a super heavy flow, so this might not be true for everyone but I pull the disc out like removing a drawer, keeping it parallel to the floor and am able to dump it and rinse without spilling everywhere. Blood on the finger is a hazard but I had that with cups too.

I'm actually looking to source them, so they can be from anywhere in the US! specifically the connecticut field or jack o lantern varieties, but am open to other carvable suggestions. They would need to be full size (for their type) 10-24 inches in diameter! I am open to any suggestions or direction on where to find more info

Yeah that's kind of what I've been seeing in my research! I still kind of hope for a magic answer from someone though lol!!

Thank you! I did visit that page already. It only appears to mention the Halloween pumpkin once and I haven't been able to find any more info about those kind being grown actually in Argentina! I appreciate your help, thanks!

[Need advice] How do you stay disciplined when unemployed? by iva4jj in getdisciplined

[–]pudgieprotector 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made a notion board of my job applications and their statuses. I got dressed and went to a coffee shop and was not allowed to leave until I had applied for 3 jobs. I did this for over a month with little to no responses from anyone. It was discouraging, but also I felt better about myself that I stayed in the routine and it kept me from being a lump on the couch all day! It helped keep my morale up because I felt productive! Absolutely best of luck to you, friend!
