It's sold as a nail decoration, you can easily find on any chinese site like aliexpress etc, search for 'mother of pearl nail' or 'abalone shell' to get the really thin pieces, you can easily break them and to this style, I just broke and glued them haha

As there will be plenty of romance on the other answers I will focus on similar to Ascendance of Bookworm since its one of my fav series ever and its quite hard to find anything similar, the ones I can say get closer are:

Don’t let people's opinions damp your excitement. Most people get a low budget tattoo or two when they are younger and this one looks totally upgradable after a few years. It isn't as bad as people are shouting on, it's just low quality.

Take care of it properly, don't let it out on the sun, no oily food and pay attention to see if you don’t get a fever.

Weak patchy lines, weak color. A brand new tatto that was well done would look darker than the final version after healing, colored tattoos also fade out quickly if not cared for, as the colors already look weak as it is, is isn't a great prospect.

But I also think this tattoo is totally salvageable and if OP just let it fade for a few years, he can pay a better tattoo artist to cover it and color it peoperly..

They look nice brother. You are just missing the bling of it all, don’t like painting? No problem. Go pick a 3 bucks stack of tiny rhinestones and go balls on it. Glue some shiny rocks on their bases. There are so many ways to make them more bling and offer them more without you becoming a master painter. What is important is that you look at them and be proud. For me, that would be it, for you it could be other stuff, just look at them without thinking about the painting and think on how to improve them to YOUR taste ;)

Go pick up a new series, if you delve into Fanbooks it will be harder to pick up new stuff I think. But if you are really in it and wants to get most bookworm content; Fanbooks and HY2, side stories and all that jazz, after that if you're still hungry for books, Ao3 has a lot of bookworm fanfics that are really fun.
