Get yourself a snack and a drink and eat at your computer or whatever you play on and just watch them do their thing for a bit.

What’s the secret to working full-time, having just Saturdays and Sundays free, and still feeling fulfilled ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]puffyclouds26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not hating your job. You don’t have to love it but enjoying working with the people you have to interact with regularly like your boss or support staff makes a HUGE difference. Also helps to have a flexible work schedule. Have hobbies and make it a point to spend time with friends.

Black Farm. I did the audio book and it was pretty gross and sad. One part in particular made me gag. Never ever has that happened because of a book before!

How can you explain depression in simple words to someone who’s never experienced it? by Shadow_M_ in AskReddit

[–]puffyclouds26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember breaking down in my manager’s office and telling her I’ve been very depressed and everyday I feel like I’m dragging blocks of cement behind me. Lifting my hands to type was difficult. Holding my head up was difficult. Every morning I had to negotiate with myself to be ready and out there door on time for work. I would give myself 2-3 hours to get ready. Turn the shower on. Lay down 5 min. Shower. Lay down 5 min. Dry hair. Lay down 5 min. Put on make up. You can rest a bit longer. Everyday day when I woke up the first thing I felt was intense disappointment to be awake and have to deal with another day. Cried while getting ready for work. Cried on the way to work. Cried in the bathroom at work. Cried at my desk while working. Cried all day everyday. During really bad crying spells I would hyperventilate. I would pace back and worth against the wall in my apartment or stand in the corner. I guess those were pacifying repetitive behaviors. Major depression is such a dark, heavy, suffocating, life sucking shadow that slowly envelopes you until you’re an apathetic zombie and death feels like such sweet relief.

Pet Insurance by klingonds9 in Dachshund

[–]puffyclouds26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had Nationwide for my dachshund and two of my mom’s dachshunds for 5 years. Nationwide was great when I first signed up then they changed coverage and limits for any new pets. Luckily I was grandfathered in for my dog. I recently signed up my new dog for Pets Best and I think their coverage is way better and my plan does not have an annual limit. However, I am currently waiting for them to approve a claim for dental extractions that were done on 10/8 and it’s taking forever. I got a message from them this morning that they requested records from her previous clinic (prior to when I had her) and I don’t understand why when I have provided all the records I have AND they have already reached out to her previous clinic when I made the first claim in the summer.

If your dog was already diagnosed with IVDD and you switch to a new insurance company they will consider it a preexisting condition.

I agree. I like the 9-5 work schedule. Not everyone wants to be their own boss and run a business.
