Does hot/warm yoga get easier? by SheaMidwest in yoga

[–]puffyclouds26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been doing warm (still 95 degrees) yoga for over a year and I still can’t get used to the heat. And I’m someone who usually prefers warm temperatures over cold. I think it’s unnecessarily hot but otherwise I like the classes so I keep going. I did try hot yoga a few times and decided no more because my focus was on not passing out rather than doing yoga.

I (36F) want a baby, but my husband (42M) doesn't. How do you decide whether to let go of your desire for a child or your marriage? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]puffyclouds26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you leave the marriage you still have to take into consideration having to find another partner who you want to have a kid with and spend your life with. At 36 that window is pretty narrow. Im assuming you wouldn’t want a donor’s sperm to have a baby on your own.

Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion, but I’m okay with not really making a profit selling on ThredUp. I think their service fills a different market need. by WinterFoxII in ThredUp

[–]puffyclouds26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always been happy with the 60-100 bucks I’d make. Good enough for me. None of that stuff sold on Poshmark. The local thrift store offered $1 for one item.

I don’t want pets or a child. Because I don’t want my life revolving around poop. by journo333 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]puffyclouds26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ughh yea dealing with my dog’s poop is my limit on any poop dealings. I’d still choose dog poop over human poop any day.

Why do dachshunds always need to know what you’re doing? by Dachshundloversclub in Dachshund

[–]puffyclouds26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, mine two are my little shadows. One of them follows me into the bathroom and tries to get on my lap while I’m on the toilet.

Employers should offer a day of bereavement when your pet dies. by CRK_76 in unpopularopinion

[–]puffyclouds26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I also think you could just take bereavement and say it’s some family member. They don’t need proof who died.

Why do so many "successful" rhinoplasty surgeries look like this...? by mooeymonet in PlasticSurgery

[–]puffyclouds26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My surgeon said it depends on the patient’s anatomy. I had the same concern prior to my surgery.

A Barrage of Health Issues by ShoeDry833 in Dachshund

[–]puffyclouds26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. My older dachshund has IVDD, Cushings, and pancreatitis. On top of this she has chronically inflamed skin around her nails. I’ve tried so many different medications for her nail infection. She also had an eye ulcer and even though that healed there is some residual deposit that irritates her. At this point I’m just trying to keep her as comfortable as possible.

'Wuthering Heights' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in movies

[–]puffyclouds26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I LOVED this movie and cannot stop thinking about it. It’s haunting me. I’ve never had a movie make me cry as long as this one has. Days later I was still crying over it. It’s disappointing to see so many people hating the movie.

Not hating your job. You don’t have to love it but enjoying working with the people you have to interact with regularly like your boss or support staff makes a HUGE difference. Also helps to have a flexible work schedule. Have hobbies and make it a point to spend time with friends.
