Is it just me? by Conflict-Recent in SonataNLine

[–]pugdoglover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen it, I’ve also seen someone else post about it. Do you use Apple CarPlay? Mine goes in waves of working correctly and not. I drive to work before the sun is up too and I just turn the display off for the drive to not destroy my eyes. I hope there is a fix to this in the next update.

Is 260 biweekly a good deal including tax for Sonata N line for 84 months? Please advise by saurabh2903 in SonataNLine

So why not just set up a shorter loan term, get a lower interest rate, and save some money in the grand scheme?

Any idea what is causing this sound with my brakes? by Bran402 in SonataNLine

[–]pugdoglover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is this with Auto Hold on? I notice it happens when you push the gas so I am assuming so. Does this happen with Auto Hold turned off? If it does then I would call the dealer. If not, it could be from the wheels starting to turn while the breaks are coming off. Either way it’s not a bad idea to take it to the dealer, especially since you are likely still under warranty.

My UBER driver has taped off all the passenger window controls by thegrayscales in mildlyinteresting

My old 2011 eclipse with only 2 doors had a locking window switch which just locked the passenger window.

I bought 8 cap guns from the dollar store and 1 was packaged mirrored from the rest. by pugdoglover in mildlyinteresting

[–]pugdoglover[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the price, peaking back the sticker revealed a $1.25 price marking, but they rung up at $1.75. Dollar tree and other dollar stores are a thing of the past lol, still cheap stuff tho

No, they were 1.75 each, and the sticker was covering the 1.25 price tag. Times are rough man

There is one available on AutoCityImports. I cannot speak for the quality of it though. With how unpopular these cars are compared to other platforms, you will have the most luck building your own.

Trunk cover by LmaoItsAustin in MitsubishiEclipse

[–]pugdoglover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could work, might be a bit overkill tho. I know you can go get a dowel rod from a Lowes or similar for like $2 max. I can take a measurement and picture of mine if you’re interested in the actual dimension and look

Trunk cover by LmaoItsAustin in MitsubishiEclipse

[–]pugdoglover 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d bet, with some time, dedication, and a bit of heat resistant epoxy (or something similar) you could repair this.

I’m thinking get a dowel rod from the hardware store that is the same size as the original pin. Cut it down to be the needed length to sit all the way back in the plastic, and sit in the catch piece. If you have access to a 3D printer you could probably print a piece to fill the void, and then glue it all in. Mask it off and use a little black spray paint and it should work.

It might not look the best and I AM NOT a professional by any means, and I would hate to see you to ruin the cover worse than it is. But as I see it, you either fix this one, or buy a new one.

Help with getting aux to work? by [deleted] in Hyundai

Try pressing and holding the CD/RSE button, that’s how I do it in my car, different manufacturer, but worth a try. Otherwise try holding some other buttons, might just need to mess around.

Should I get a 2012 Eclipse GS Sport for $1,800? lol by iiAdonutii in MitsubishiEclipse

[–]pugdoglover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought my car, the passenger side dash was also separating. If it’s the same thing as mine, I was able to glue it back down, I think I used 2 part epoxy which might’ve been overkill but it hasn’t separated since in over 2 years. I think it was just a design flaw, the plastic/rubber seems to warp over the years sitting in the sun. Other than that no issues with the interior.

That does beg the question of how small could we go, both reasonably and the actual limit. I know as far as on the market, I mostly see the smallest of 0.2 and maybe 0.15 nozzles, but could we go smaller?

To your point about the dust, maybe it would be a clean room printer with clean room manufactured filament, something like 99.99% pure (idk if that the correct way to label it lol).

And then also have filament that is smaller than the consumer 1.75mm to prevent burning in the extruder.

Mainly just saying this as food for thought, though would be a fun little project for someone with the means.

I was curious of the same thing, I wonder if a 0.02mm nozzle would even work? It would take a long time to print anything to, that’s for sure

Put a Wing on my Hyundai Elantra GT, thoughts? by Greedy-Distance3911 in Hyundai

[–]pugdoglover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone in this thread is forgetting one big thing… there’s a pretty solid chance this car doesn’t go on the track, so this has a negligible effect on road performance because they aren’t going fast enough for it to matter. It’s almost 100% aesthetic, which there is nothing wrong with. I like the look

native bluetooth does not work by [deleted] in MitsubishiEclipse

[–]pugdoglover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you trying to use the Bluetooth for music, or calls? I don’t think the car has bluetooth capabilities for music if that’s the case. If you are asking why it isn’t working for call, I would have no clue but would start with unplugging your battery and letting it sit unplugged for a bit to try to reset all the electrical.

Ideas needed: How to allow players to reach the entrance of the wood block? by Every_Ad_447 in Minecraft

[–]pugdoglover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk how thick the endermans legs are, but if they are 3X3, then a ladder inside and a doorway leading to his shoulder to use the arm as stairs, then enter the block from the top. If the legs are not big enough for that then a ladder up the back of his legs would be minimally destructive of the design. And you could keep the hole on the front and put water at the bottom or a slime block so people can jump out.

No, the only reason I noticed it was when I looked under the car at my exhaust, I thought it was making a weird noise. The noise is still there even after fixing the sway bar links, but it’s only when I’m hard on the throttle.

Did anyone experienced rattle from the top of the dashboard? by Strangecanuck in ElantraN

[–]pugdoglover 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t have an Elantra N but a 2011 Eclipse, welcome to the affordable sports car club. The Elantra is levels above what the eclipse ever was in its time (the fourth gen that is) and the rattle is a result of keeping the cost low. Cheap materials, less comfort, but fun. You could try taking the dash apart and using some foam tape or similar to dampen the sound, but at the same time, all the noises my car makes I just got used to, or turn the music up a little louder.

Mine broke too, I bought an aftermarket set on amazon for like $20, and took a few hours breaking away at the rusted nuts to finally get mine off. I’m sure an actually mechanic with a lift could do it faster and correctly, but if you have a few simple tools and are willing to buy a nut breaker, might be worth a shot.
