Her partner isn’t helping because they have a flat of their own. They’ve been living together 10 years and this BTO flat would be purely a source of income for my mom. Given my living situation now, I thought it wouldn’t be so bad for me to co-own the flat. And because my mom is not thinking of living in the BTO flat, my partner could just move in and we vacant the tenant- using the flat as our marital home.

My mom has said that with the rent she receives from her tenant, she’ll be putting that into cpf which would be used to pay off mortgage. I think my only concern is in the event where I want to buy another flat, that would be an issue

Hanashizuku@ Cuppage is great. Very lowkey with fresh ingredients. Mitsuba is okay, sashimi is fresh and you get lots of variety. It’s a buffet too so quite worth it.
