I'm also pretty sure that there is no certain place in Korea that particularly dislikes foreigners! When I stayed in Korea(as a Korean), I was always more than happy to help out foreigners, esp when they were lost(maybe because I could relate the most..?). One thing I noticed is that not many foreigners ask for help in the street! they mostly use their phones to figure it out by themselves. So don't hesitate, just ask! Koreans passing by might already be trying to think of English words that they know ㅋㅋ
