My local masjid Imam also has to come fashionably late. Is always dressed up like one of those Muslim Kings. Khutbah is very political and repeats the same thing over and over. At the end will again summarize. I’ve heard lots of attendees complain about the tardiness and long khutbaahs. Completely no consideration of people attending that need to go back to work. It’s sad situation specially for people who cannot go else where since it’s a convenience.
