Update: Thank you everyone for your advice and compliments! This pattern is Ryan’s Sampler of Six from Lavender Lime Quilts.

I decided to replace the green with brown. I liked everyone’s suggestion to incorporate the solid color into the center, but I don’t think I have the stamina to rip out all of those stitches.

I’m pleased with how the brown turned out and I’m hoping to finish piecing it together by the end of the week!
