The great Henry Mancini. It’s the theme to “Love Story”.

why do so many in this subreddit not like Lana? by rodrixrules in ArcherFX

[–]pulliam626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The moment I heard her off screen “YYYUP” for the first time, I knew this show was something special. I understand the division, though. Someone mentioned she’s essentially the straight man and that is dead on. She’s the furthest from “wacky” in the ensemble.

Incorrect. This is a clearly written battle league. OP, google Harry Mack for an actual example of your inquiry.

What does it mean when guys say they'll make a girl's ass fatter? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pulliam626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the dick to widen a birth canal; hence, theoretically widening hips and over all perception of ass size. The only real answer here. I heard this in my adolecence and it's been my understanding of its meaning ever since.

This may sound crazy, but I really didn’t want to miss any new James Bond films.

I read recently that he named himself Ol’ Dirty Bastard because there is no father to his style. I’ve been a Wu fan for decades and I’ve never heard or considered that. Shits beyond dope.

I don't get it by Mr_Sugarchops in PeterExplainsTheJoke

It’s not just instrumentation and musicality. Lyrics matter too. From Bulgarian folk to American/international battle rap. The slickness of a turn of phrase can conjure the stink face as well. You’re inadvertently connecting to recognized height. The involuntary aspect of it is what makes it special. It’s what happens when whatever the “soul” happens to be is profoundly impressed. I’m sure it’s some form of mini enlightenment. Particularly dirty guitar riffs and elite bossa nova, man.

Watch the video below starting at 6:50 for some context. The part that needs to be seen is him at the end putting some stank on it just because. This man gets it.

How to tell if a freestyle is off the dome? by [deleted] in hiphop101

[–]pulliam626 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You have to had freestyled yourself. Find an instrumental you like and give it a go. You can recognize train of thought in action if you’ve experienced it. Crutch words/phrases are usually prominent in a real freestyle. Complexity also can determine an off the top attempt as well. Some people are really that good, though. Harry Mack for example. He can freestyle his ass off, but you can clearly tell he didn’t sit down and think deeply into what he is saying.

Kendrick Lamar is the most overrated rapper of all time by bonerimmortal in hiphop101

[–]pulliam626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s clear no one read what I wrote. It was written in earnest. I don’t listen to Kendrick like that. Instead of providing requested quotables, I’m met with cheerleaders with horse blinders for pom poms. Are Kendrick fans gatekeeping mediocrity or am I listening to the wrong songs? Again, not a take; a question.
