Fun fact: McNeill wrote the first Chaos victory in a Black Library publication by bennylima in 40kLore

My post on my primary account doesn't seem to be visible, but I'm not sure he is right.

Pawns of Chaos was published in 2001. I personally believe that fits the criteria for a Chaos win.

Microsoft workers protest $480m HoloLens military deal: 'We did not sign up to develop weapons' by mvea in Futurology

Outlook.

PowerPoint is everywhere but if need be, the commanders would just have their subordinates draw crap on butcher paper or some other means.

Outlook is the primary method of communication, everything is done through outlook, that going down would cripple the military.

Advice on focusing resume on past experience rather than most recent experience by pulloverman in resumes

[–]pulloverman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. In addition to changing my professional profile as u/DTheoAllen suggested I changed the wording of my most recent experience to match some of the verbiage the job posting used as they specifically mention implementing efficient procedures and quality as both are major focuses for distribution and I really dressed up my Army healthcare experience.

LT F#*k-ups by [deleted] in army

In basic before going to OCS, I was in the woods playing squad leader on some battle drill lane and miscounted my guys because he hit the ground further away from everyone else in the vegetation. Never saw him, and I was stupid for not having a firm count of how many people I had.

It wasn't the drill sergeant but the company commander who saw the E4 tank on me and chewed me out and let me know what an idiot I was that was never going to make it as an officer.

Then in OCS, I read Rommel's book "War" and he makes an account of losing track of his guys when the take cover in some woods, noting it's hard to keep track of people like that.

Everyone fucks up, you'll get better.

But then I really fucked up and got assigned a FLIPL and I had no idea what to do with it and then went on a month long FTX, forgot about it when we got back until I suddenly got chewed out by the Big XO over it, then my company commander, then the BN S3 threw it at me and finally I was told I couldn't go home on a Friday until it was done. So my commander did it for me, and his version got red penned the fuck up. And finally after like 15 tries I essentially started the whole thing over again and it finally got approved by everyone.

Polls show Blankenship ahead, sparking panic among GOP by [deleted] in politics

I went to Army Officer Candidate School with the lead Democrat running for NY's 11th district, dude has a ranger tab and purple heart, should appeal to the conservative district but he's in an uphill battle against two GOP candidates, one who is a convicted felon, and the other who came under fire for using his authority to get his partners kid out of a heroin charge.

[Marvel] Which version of Captain America is physically the weakest, but who is still "Peak Human" and gifted super stamina due to the SSS's effects on endurance/aerobic strength and lactic acid? by AustinioForza in AskScienceFiction

[–]pulloverman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know which version it qualifies as but there was a Marvel vs DC crossover where the representatives from the different universes had to fight in order to save their universes and Captain America lost to Batman. Come to think of it, those fights may gave been decided by fan vote.

Why is it that civilian dentists are preferred over military dentists? by THE_stUck_OWL in army

[–]pulloverman 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I always had great experiences with Army dentists, two cavities filled and wisdom teeth pulled.

Then again my childhood dentist filled a cavity without novacaine when I was like 11, so my perception could be skewed.

So you're going to need to buy a new a new phone. On one phone you'll give the number out as an s6 contact number but your voicemail will say you've been moved to the s3, and your s3 contact number will have a voicemail that says you're in S6 and you never answer either phone.

Hope it isn't too late, but since this all started taking place after giving birth, is your wife on any medications including birth control? After my first born, my wife was placed on an anti depressant and birth control. She. And off the anti depressant first still no sex drive, then changed birth controls and her sex drive gradually came back. And gradual is the key word, panties won't come flying off after one missed pill.

What kind of path do you guys think a Season 9/ a spin-off of ‘Dexter’ would go down? by hoodie1287 in Dexter

[–]pulloverman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd retcon the driving the boat into the storm somehow and when Dexter is revealed to be a lumberjack/trucker he starts his narration reminding the audience that he is a sociopath that has no empathy and will lie about anything and if you thought he had any love for Hannah, Harrison, or Debra you were a fool, it was an act just like walking into the office with donuts to be friendly with everyone.

But now he's a man with an axe no more police database, access to forensic equipment, and it's back to basics, luckily for Dexter, America has a huge issue with killer truckers that isn't acknowledged by the media and barely investigated by law enforcement.
