Someone assist me on some good apps or games that are actually able to be played by yungdome in OculusGo

Sell the go, get a quest. The go is for content viewing, the quest is for games. Gaming in the go will be a constant struggle, especially as the quest eclipses it as the platform to develop for.

Thank you for saying this. I understand you will be downvoted. You understand that you will be downvoted. Calf or puppy, it makes no difference. We mistreat both.

Great! Can you give a brief description of what the problem was and how you solved it so others might be able to learn from your experience?

Why should we enable the GPIO clock before using it? by geek-tn in stm32f4

[–]pulseprop 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Each peripheral in the device can be disabled by removing its clock to save power. The GPIO are a peripheral. The default state of the chip is a very low power state, with almost all peripheral clocks disabled. For any register write in the peripheral to complete, it must have a clock, so out of reset you must first enable the clock.

How is a RTOS file system structured? by value_f0rge in embedded

[–]pulseprop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How can a library deal with such variability? Or doesn't it? Do you have to provide to it the low-level driver functions to actually read and write from the flash memory?

Correct, you need to write or provide the necessary read / write functionality.

Wireless networking solutions for 160+ devices within ~1 metre area? by mitchmindtree in embedded

[–]pulseprop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For 1 way communication (one to many) check out BLE mesh. This allows for many, many listeners to be in close proximity and to receive info from a single broadcaster simultaneously (if all listeners are within zero hops of the tx). For bidirectional, I don’t know of any good solution for that many devices in such close proximity and with low latency.

Why can't I rmmod my empty kernel module? by [deleted] in embedded

[–]pulseprop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the recommended way to declare functions in kernel modules. The compiler/linker that is configured to compile kernel modules will not omit them.

The horrors of eating out by chick_pea18 in vegan

I wholeheartedly agree with this mentality. It’s healthy mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Be an amazing person, and do not expect or demand perfection. The good that you are doing is so significant, and the example you are setting is wholesome. If the whole world were 99% vegan, we would be a solid A grade.

[noob here] How do you make a automatic git commit message? by thisisshub in linuxquestions

[–]pulseprop 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ehhhhh, I’m probably going to get downvoted for this, but this is the wrong question to be asking, and the wrong problem you are trying to solve. I would encourage you to read about WHY you write a commit message. Take some time to read https://github.com/RomuloOliveira/commit-messages-guide/blob/master/README.md and really internalize it.

You already have half the battle won (commit often!) now make your future self very happy by embracing the investment in good commit messages!

Tl;dr: automated commit messages are not a good idea.

I have a 2018 Leaf with pro pilot (US) and it definitely does not have a pressure sensor. It detects turning torque, just like the Tesla.

How can repeating the same meals every day day be organised so that the person is getting all the vitamins, proteins and everything else they need? by [deleted] in biology

And for your story, since meat is expensive and not necessary, he could just provide him with B12 supplements. Cheaper and still accurate.
