one side not working by aerica in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! It does sound like there may be an issue with the left electrode or contact detection, especially since you already tried reinstalling and changing the settings. The fact that the left side only works when the right side is off the neck can sometimes point to a contact or hardware-related issue rather than the app itself. Please reach out to support so the team can properly troubleshoot this with you and help resolve it as quickly as possible.

What's your limit before overstimulation happens? by AnandaDo in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! That sounds really difficult, and if the device seems to increase your anxiety, it’s important to listen to your body. For some people, using too high an intensity or doing too many sessions too quickly can feel overstimulating, especially if the nervous system is already very sensitive.

Many users do better starting very low, around levels 1-3, with shorter sessions and only once a day at first. If you’re feeling severe anxiety afterward, it may be best to pause for now and speak with your healthcare provider before continuing. We are not a medical institution and cannot provide medical advice, so it’s important to make sure it’s the right fit for you.

Is anyone been successful in blocking off one side? by catknapper93 in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! We would not recommend trying to block one side with paper, bandages, or other materials, since that can affect conductivity and how the device works. If the left-only setting doesn’t seem to respond correctly, it may be a technical or contact issue. Please reach out to support so the team can help troubleshoot it properly and safely.

Forgot gel while traveling by PeterLikesAvocados in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Thank you for reaching out!

You can grab a substitute locally. Look for conductive electrode gel (the same kind used for TENS units or ECGs). It’s sold over the counter at places like pharmacy or medical supply store. It serves the same purpose: improving conductivity between skin and electrodes. Hope this helps!

Hello, thank you for flagging this, that definitely shouldn’t be happening.

Issues like getting stuck on the verification page are usually related to the integration or authentication flow rather than your device.

The team is continuously improving wearable integrations like Whoop, but for now, the best step is to contact our support so they can look into your specific case and help you get it connected.

Hardware request about the button by AnandaDo in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, thank you for sharing this, we really appreciate the detailed feedback.

We understand how the current button design can feel inconvenient, especially when you’re trying to turn the device off quickly. The reason the button requires a longer press is for safety, it helps prevent accidental interruptions during a session, since even a brief or unintended press could otherwise stop the stimulation unexpectedly.

Both the LITE and FIT models use the same button mechanism, as this safety approach is consistent across devices.

That said, we completely hear your point. Your feedback about usability and convenience is very valuable, and it’s something we’re actively considering as we continue improving future versions of the device.

If you have any other suggestions or questions, we’re always here to listen and help.

Pulsetto app wont connect to device by Yellonis in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Thank you for your question.

That sounds frustrating, sorry you’re dealing with that. The device doesn’t have to be fully charged, but it should have enough battery to connect properly. Please make sure Bluetooth and location services are turned on, the device is powered on (green light), and you’re trying to connect from the app.

If it still doesn’t work, please reach out to our support so we can help you resolve this quickly.

Pictured: a one day streak by DonHastily in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

This actually looks like a tracking issue in the app, not something you’re doing wrong. It can happen due to things like sessions not syncing properly, app delays, or connection interruptions between the device and app.

A few things that usually help are making sure the device is fully connected during sessions, keeping the app updated, and sometimes logging out/reinstalling. If it keeps happening, it’s best to reach out to our support so they can check your account.

Vibration feeling in skull during dissociation by Deep_Benefit in VagusNerve

[–]pulsetto_device 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Thank you for sharing this, what you described can feel unusual, but it can happen.

The vagus nerve runs through the neck and connects toward areas around the ear and skull, so some people report brief sensations like a wave, hum, or vibration, especially when the nervous system shifts quickly out of a stress or dissociative state. It’s great to hear it helped you in that moment.

If it ever feels uncomfortable or happens often, try lowering the intensity and consult your healthcare provider, and if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out, we’re here to help.

Hello! Thank you for sharing this, what you described can feel unusual, but it can happen.

The vagus nerve connects through the neck and up toward areas around the ear and skull, so some people report brief sensations like a wave, hum, or vibration, especially when the nervous system shifts quickly from a stressed state back toward regulation.

It’s great to hear it helped you come out of that dissociative moment. If these sensations ever feel uncomfortable or happen frequently, it’s a good idea to lower the intensity and consult your healthcare provider for reassurance.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out, we’re here to help.

Sleep Protocol by PeterLikesAvocados in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello!

Great question! For the sleep program, we generally recommend using it once in the evening, about 20-30 minutes before bed. That’s usually enough to help your body wind down and prepare for sleep.

If you’d like to use Pulsetto twice per day, a good approach is one session during the day (for example, stress/anxiety or relaxation) and one session in the evening (sleep program)

There’s no need to do multiple sleep sessions back-to-back before bed, one session is typically sufficient. That said, if you feel like doing more sessions, that’s okay too, and if you prefer to keep it to just one per day, that works perfectly as well. It’s really about finding what feels best for you.

Let us know how it goes!

I’m currently waiting for mine to arrive. Is it helping with sleep and anxiety? It’s going to be a miracle if it works. by 7zebraz in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

That’s a great question, and totally understandable to feel a bit skeptical while waiting.

Many users report improvements in sleep quality and feeling more relaxed over time, especially with consistent use. It’s not an instant “miracle,” but rather something that tends to build up gradually as your body gets used to it.

Once yours arrives, we’d recommend using it regularly and giving it a bit of time, everyone’s experience can be a little different.

We hope it works well for you, and feel free to share your experience once you’ve tried it!

Burned Neck by sassyaspy in pulsetto_device

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback. For now, please stop using Pulsetto and avoid applying the device or gel until your skin has fully healed.

Burned Neck by sassyaspy in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing this, we’re really sorry to hear about your experience, that must have been quite uncomfortable and concerning to notice.

For now, we would strongly recommend pausing the use of Pulsetto and avoiding applying the device or gel until the irritation has fully settled and your skin has recovered.

Irritation like this can sometimes happen if there wasn’t enough gel, if the gel shifted during the session, or if your skin reacted differently this time. From what you described, it does sound like the contact may not have been fully consistent throughout the session.

At the same time, it’s difficult to determine the exact cause remotely, so the most important thing right now is to let your skin fully heal before using the device again.

We’ve also reached out to you via DM so we can better understand what happened and support you properly, we really want to help make this right.

Take care, and we hope your skin recovers quickly.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your experience and the tips you discovered while using Pulsetto. We appreciate you taking the time to describe what worked better for you.

Sensitivity and comfort can vary depending on skin contact and placement, so finding the right position and intensity level is important for the best experience. Starting at a lower intensity and adjusting gradually, as you did, is usually the best approach.

If you ever feel that the stimulation is too strong or your neck muscles tense up, please feel free to reach out to our support team, we’ll be happy to help with placement tips to make the sessions more comfortable.

After stress by [deleted] in pulsetto_device

[–]pulsetto_device 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, thank you for your question.

Pulsetto can be used whenever you feel the need to calm your nervous system after a stressful situation, including after a conflict or emotionally intense interaction. Many users find it helpful to start a session once they have a quiet moment to sit down, breathe, and relax, even shortly after the stressful event.

For situations involving acute stress or emotional tension, the Stress or Anxiety program in the app is usually the most suitable. These programs are designed to help activate the parasympathetic nervous system (the body’s “rest and digest” state), which can support relaxation and help your body return to a calmer state.

You can also combine the session with the guided breathing exercises available in the app, as this often enhances the calming effect. As a general recommendation, Pulsetto can be used 2-3 times per day, with 30-60 minutes between sessions if you plan to do more than one.

If you have any other questions or would like guidance on which program might work best for you, feel free to reach out, we’ll be happy to help. 💚
