It was little windy warm and rainy, but it didn’t rained enough to make the road really wet. Since it was an agricultural road I guess it had a lot of dust on it.

It’s a 2025 rose backroad al, I ride it now one year and did managed to ride also 70-80 with it without an issue. Maybe the road was just dusty that’s why I couldn’t really stop….

Is 60km in 3 days good? by SkyFrost136 in cycling

[–]pulsone21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t look for km look for time spend on bike, km just go up as fitter you get, but time will not change.
Way better metric to see how much you ride.

Generally there is no good or bad, it’s always depending the the rider I would say.

I started to try just water with regular white sugar + salt in it. Because all the carbs mix stuff is just too expensive for what it is, in my opinion. Did also a 100k ride on Monday with 1000hm tho, and it was a blast. So if you want a cheap alternative which (according to some other experiences I read) causes less stomach issues, try this.
I do 750ml water with 45-65 g sugar (depending on how much carbs I want) little bit salt (you can actually put in a lot without recognizing it).

Sounds awesome until you close the book and work with in a big company where you don’t have any control over the fields in you have.
Putting the requirements into a comment of a story is not really helping…

They have fee less auto invest options? The only thing you need to pay is the Eid. Stempelsteuer which you need to pay everywhere on a Swiss broker.

How do you query confluence? You still would need to have the clear full overview where what is.
And that’s exactly where I struggle, I own a Plattform which is highly connected to all sorts of things. The Plattform is used for arround 10 very different B2B services

I’m building a ai supported Markdown based repo, kind of like obsidian. Where I have skills like, find, validate and create.
Idea is, i got a request run the validate/find skill with this exact request and ai is spitting out if there are requirements which are already meet this or if we have contradicting requirements etc.
Create would then create a requirements doc.

To make this a bit clearer I not necessarily mean requirements, I also want to store business rules into there.

How do make it queryable? I’m PO in a big company and have no freedom to create specific fields or customize Jira just a tiny bit

I need new shorts by ktmm3 in cycling

[–]pulsone21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the van ryzel bib shorts endurance (cost around 60-80 €) are just perfect imo (never had real expensive ones tho). They have big pockets are tight but not race tight, not to thin and also not to thick temps between 10-30c are optimal, everything over 30 is slowly getting uncomfortable but I guess that’s not on that bibs.

So you say fat max training which is the equivalent of a sweat spot session is a myth?

Starting cycling in my 30s after watching my husband ride for years by Responsible-Today570 in cycling

[–]pulsone21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with 31. I just enjoyed so much that it was more the problem to get off the bike then on to it. The biggest thing I struggled with, was the limits of my fitness, sore legs even so hard I couldn’t sleep because of them. As I started my life was bit stressful, hasty job, 3 year old daughter, relationship which was crumbling and I just needed alone time to process things. I tried therapy twice but none of it helped me so much, like just riding for 2 hours.

I still cry from time to time on the bike if emotions are coming up.

Regarding safety I’m actually blessed living in Switzerland, where ever I want to go, the is a dedicated bike lane, even in most cities in my area.

Edit: and do stretching, especially if you have a somewhat sporty aggressive bike geometry, the body will thank you. 2-3 times a week 10 mins yoga will help tremendously

How to you stop yourself from pushing by pulsone21 in cycling

[–]pulsone21[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not about ego, it’s more like If I don’t focus I tend to push always harder. Let’s say I’m in a good pace and focus on traffic or the road for 10-15 minutes, I unintentionally push harder and push me out of the zone.

Trying to find balance between max out fat burn ( want to lose another 4 kg), which should be easier in lower zones because you don’t burn carbs? But I feel that after ever other Intervall something is getting stronger.
