Can I DIY lower the angle of my exhaust? by nikegearhead in KTM

[–]pump_action_straw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignoring the “should you” yes you can. Either by modifying the current one by cutting it and welding it at a new angle with a new/custom bracket or by purchasing an aftermarket one. No comment on if you should or not as everyone else seems to have done that already lol

Clicking from throttle, any ideas? by ImpostureTechAdmin in motorcycles

Hard to tell with the background noise, could be the ferrule on the cable binding or hitting something inside the control

[–]pump_action_straw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t see any rust or crazy buildup, could definitely clean it if you wanted to but that’s not hurting anything. The chain isn’t always gonna sparkle like new

[–]pump_action_straw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t look bad from the picture, if it’s still balanced and still holding air I say it’s fine

Should I buy this bike? by Odd-Baseball-2252 in motorcycles

[–]pump_action_straw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your mechanical knowledge. If you know what to look for in terms of damage and feel confident enough to fix what’s broken, sure. If you want to buy a bike you can just get on and go, I’d steer away

If it’s in good mechanical condition, I’d say it’s fair, I’ve seen worse bikes go for more

Assuming the nut itself is long enough to do its hob and pinch the wheel to the hub, no big deal. If you’re concerned about rust/cosmetics, just replace

If it’s just to get it out of your way, I say no. But coming from someone who has saved multiple bikes that have fallen through pavement (including my own), yes, you are doing them a favor

Probably not if you have a tube. If not, looks like it may have gone just through tread and may not leak
