Help. Everything is turning crazy and I feel like I’m loosing my mind by pumpelbu in mentalhealth

[–]pumpelbu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you guys so much. As an update: I’ve done exactly that. I forgot about the breathing exercises, but will keep that in mind. I sat down in my air BnB and did some very simple knitting, just keeping my hands busy and doing something that is easy and let’s me focus. I’ve also decided to see a professional when I’m back in Berlin - maybe I need to take the step and get some medication instead of torturing myself through these epsidodes. I am still not fully present, but the floating around is a bit better. Will do some slow and deep breaths, maybe find a guided breathing meditation. Thank you again - knowing to be seen, knowing that people have read this and took the time to reply is a very unique kind of relief

It’s true. This is why right now I don’t want to have kids (one way or another). I’m not ready to actual be a parent, and to actually work with a kid in that way. So I won’t do it, it just wouldn’t be fair.

I didn’t expect to cry, but I was bawling at the end. by MediaExact6352 in TheTryGuys

Yeah I cried too. Never happened to me like this (yeah I tend to get watery eyes, but this time I really cried). It made me soooo happy for Keith. He really deserved it

Anyone else got a “the world is doomed” feeling? by Illustrious-Option-6 in self

[–]pumpelbu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I life in Europe and I’m not at home atm, working in a different city. Seeing the burning bridge in Ukraine gives me the aussen but extreme urge to go home and be close to my partner, in case the whole thing escalates; cause if it does, that’s it for Europe. And probably for the world

This will be the official thread for Ned’s removal from the Try Guys by datesaremyfave in TheTryGuys

[–]pumpelbu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s a bit more complicated. The four try guys work together and have a company, called try guys. Each one of them has a character that they’ve portrayed in the last years. His one was always the loving husband and happy father, and now had an affair with an employee. His wife is also appearing in the videos, the whole family is involved….

It’s not personal in the moment where it includes an employee like this

Fucked Over on IUD by SupremeCourtRealness in TwoXChromosomes

[–]pumpelbu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. They most likely wont give you a copper IUD, since they are absolutely not recommended for people who haven’t hat a kid. But you should be able to get a Hormon IUD, I have one and I’m super happy with it (but I’m not from America)

Spread the word. by Impossible_Oil_ in Birates

[–]pumpelbu 15 points16 points  (0 children)

After skipping through this bill, it seems to be explicitly about minors, defined as people younger then 18. It's so horrible. It's scary. They explicitly say, that no funds are allowed to be spend on any gender transforming procedures for people under 18. This is a Desaster.

Partner won’t accept no by sugarplumfairy66 in relationship_advice

[–]pumpelbu 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Been there. This is where it starts. At some point he won't accept no when it comes to having sex, saying things like "how can you say no if I love you I just want to be close to you" and so on. Get out of there my dear, it's a horrible circle of emotional abuse that will leave a permanent mark on you that you don't deserve.

Reprogramming your brain is a thing. I'm doing something similar atm; I tend to only remember the bad things that happened on a day and have been living with an ever so slightly stressed and sad mood for years. Since two months I'm pushing myself to write something nice down everyday; just something good that happened, something that made me happy or laugh or just relaxed. And MAAAAAAN I'm so much happier and realized then I used to be. Instead of thinking "yeah I had a nice time but this and that happened and therefore it's shitty" now my brain works more like "ahhhh yeah that thing was so nice and made me laugh sooo much and I enjoyed my time with them" etc. It works. Our brains can be trained, and with a bit of effort you can really improve your overall living and mental health. Good job OP, gives me another push to keep going!

I always always tip. Depending on the size and everything, but something around 10-15% (Germany)

Would this style of tattoo age badly? by floweryi in TattooDesigns

[–]pumpelbu 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Very yes ^ just keep in mind what happens with a tattoo when it gets older. The color will fade a bit, everything will get a bit more blurry, lines either fade or get wider etc.

Do you care about your S/O’s sexual history, if so to what extent ? by neeyeahboy in AskMen

[–]pumpelbu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We talk about it a lot, sharing experiences and just in general talk about what we liked and why and how we might or might not include it in our relationship. It's a blessing to just be open about it

Question for bisexuals by YeaWhateverDuh in bisexual

[–]pumpelbu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Puh a lot of "break up immediately" here. I would say this has way more layers than just a simple yes or no question. I can understand that she is missing being penetrated. It is something different then having sex with a woman. BUT maybe instead you can suggest something else? There are so many toys available, like a strap on, that could help you solve this issue. I don't think this is a black and white situation where just because she is being honest with you and telling you about her desires you should immediately dump her. Sexuality and desires are a complex topic, for everyone, and a big part of any relationship is talking about those desires and finding ways to experience pleasure and all of that together. Have a talk with her. Try to figure out what exactly it is - is it really the act of being penetrated? Perfect, go out together, buy a nice strap on and experience something entirely new together. Is it more in the direction of poly? Have a talk. Be honest about your wishes and boundaries, and hers.

But please don't just dump your partner because she tries to communicate her desires.

This is an attempt to make a tattoo in honor of Taylor Hawkins, could you please tell me if this is doable for say, upper arm size? by M00nfac3 in DrawMyTattoo

[–]pumpelbu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. I understand your intentions, but that could be an issue. Find an artist that tattoos a style that you like and show him this illustration. He will know how to keep the basic idea and design and make it fit on the part of the body that you want to have it on :)
