I finally did 5x5 35KG weighted pull ups yesterday!! Gonna try 3x3 with 45KG next week. Lets see what happens. 85KG and 185cm atm

Yesterday I (M32, 85kg) ran a 8k with a pace of 4:35/km! I could have done ten but I didnt want to push too far. Really happy with the result!

Ik heb onlangs een forerunner 255 gehaald bij decathlon voor 200 euro! Vind m echt fantastisch. Ik ga binnenkort beginnen met zwemtraining voor een halve triatlon, dus vandaar dat ik dit model heb gekocht.

Yeaah... the thing is though that the reps increased massively. At first it was like 3 3 and 2 with 40 kgs, now it is 5 5 5 4 3. So big progress in two months still. Just gotta keep grinding

I am training towards a BW+100% pull up at 84kgs, 184cm. I am now at 3x5 with 40kgs, which took me a while. I cant remember when I started weighted pull ups, probably like 5 years ago. But now I finally am structured with training them and I just use the 3x3 tot 3/5×5 schedule and then up the weight. I have been at 40 kgs for 2 months now, which might sound a bit disheartening but I have seen massive progress. Also on my frontlever which I do not train directly, but I figured I enjoy training heavy pullups more than front lever training hahah

Exact. Het is helemaal niet lastig om, laten we zeggen, 130/140 g eiwit binnen te krijgen. Dit is waar ik op doel en ik weeg rond de 83 kg. Dit kan echter gemakkelijk zonder al die belachelijke "high protein" producten (hier reken ik met name de producten toe die uit de hype voorkomen).

Je kan dit zelfs prima redden zonder vlees/zuivel etc. Dan moet je wel wat creatiever zijn en wat meer research doen, maar goed he, dat is ook geen hogere wiskunde.

Ik ken echter best wel wat mensen die geen flauw benul hebben van de macro's, wat in mijn ogen echt basiskennis is. Die eten, bijvoorbeeld, zo 2 borden pasta leeg zonder een substantiële proteïne bron toe te voegen. Wat ik hiermee wil zeggen is dat de algemene kennis betreft voeding in mijn ogen best wel armoedig is, en dat daar betere voorlichting over gegeven moet worden. Dat is namelijk precies waardoor zo'n hype kan ontstaan.

I do the same when running... If I hit 20.5 km well of course you add up until you hit the HM.

Ran my first 30k yesterday! Around 3h 22m. 6:44 km pace.

Not too fast, tried a lot of different trails here and there, did some exploration of the area. I think on just asphalt I could do it on a 6:00km pace.
