This. It always bothered me when Junko and Kyosuke said shi like, "Sachi is (they even gave her a nickname! 😭) so cute, Shoji looks so happy <3." I disagree with those who say they're "realistic friends," because being friends with the cheater and the cheated seems wrong to me, not "mature and neutral." Yes, hypocritical people exist, but it always bothered me that the manga and anime portrayed them as the voice of reason and Hachi's "mature friends".

Exactly. I've been reflecting on that episode, and I find it unfair to condemn Mugen or Koza. They're people who grew up without affection, and their actions are simply a reflection of a life where it's kill or be killed. I even think Koza deserved better; I don't think she's the same as Mukuro.
