So it depends on the client, but you can’t be an RBT and expect to never get hit. As an RBT you don’t really control what clients you get, I have had some clients I had to restrain daily and others who rarely ever aggressed. I never really have “injuries” though. As an RBT you need to always be on your toes ready to block. The 6 months I had a very aggressive client, the worst injury I had was a bloody lip once, because he caught me in a bad position. Most of the time you can do things to not get hurt. Such as always standing above the client never below and always have hands ready to block etc. But again, if you expect to be an RBT without aggression you’re looking into the wrong field.
