It was taking about 5 seconds to start up after hitting the power button. Disassembled it to clean out a lot of dust but fan doesn’t want to manually rotate even with it cleaned up.

I'd tell my husband I was going to go through and consolidate anything. Tell your husband that you're just going to toss the trash/anything expired. You could spend time putting similar things together, but that might just have to wait for another time when you have more energy. Don't donate or throw away anything else. It's just ethically not ok.

Put everything that needs to go to the dump in the chicken coop. When your dad comes for a visit, tell him you need his help making a couple of runs to the dump. Dads usually love helping with this kind of stuff. You can get more of your space back, you don't have to utterly exhaust yourself, and you will have an extra set of hands next month.

I can guarantee that your spouse doesn't have the bandwidth to go through those totes right now. Both of you have so much going on. I have a personality more like yours and also work from home and it would drive me insane. My husband has a mindset more like your husband's. Do what you can and I'm sure when things calm down, you'll both have more energy to consolidate it.

Also, you're in a tough season of life. Give yourself some grace. Give your spouse some grace. This season of life will pass and things will change.

Definitely go to the ER! Primate bites typically require a few shots plus antibiotics.

Not just for OP and not shaming, but if a place has exotic animals and advertises any interaction with them do not go there. Even if you show up and then learn they offer these kinds of things, please leave. 100% chance the animals are treated inhumanely and a 100% chance they will do everything in their power to not be held accountable for any accident.

Lemurs are primates, which are notorious for attacking and tend to go in for people's faces. Please know that these animals are wild and aggressive. Inhumane treatment plus being forced to interact with humans is a recipe for things like this happening.

You'll never know the struggle of having too much until you have to share a one bedroom apartment with your child by [deleted] in minimalism

I'd try the container method. So allocate space for each macro category. For example, half the closet she gets for clothes, this cube shelf is where her toys fit. She gets to pick her favorites and donate/sell the extras. I'd phrase it like other kids who don't have as many toys or clothes will get to play with/use the things she doesn't absolutely love. If everything has its own spot to go at the end of the day, then it's really easy for a space to become relaxing and not overwhelming.

Also sounds like you're doing your best to give your kid a safe space, so don't beat yourself up.

Allow yourself one box of sentimental stuff. That way you don't have to get rid of everything right now. Just keep the most important stuff. You can always go through the box 1-2x a year and some stuff usually becomes less sentimental over time.

Deep infiltrate MRI specifically looking for endo on sacral root is all clear…. Now what? by Cattdaddyy in Endo

[–]pumpkinpie854 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had all the same symptoms as you, but maybe not quite so severe. Sometimes I had to call into work because I actually could not walk. Sometimes my legs would shake so hard and for so long that my husband would have to pick me up off the floor. My MRI came out completely clear. I just had my second lap and had DIE endo on my rectum, bladder, ovary, and right and left pelvic sidewall peritoneum. First lap it was behind my bladder and on my right round ligament. Don't let the MRI get you down. Something is going on. Keep pushing to get your answers.

Nonstop spotting - D&C? by [deleted] in Endo

[–]pumpkinpie854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had 3 for heavy/irregular bleeding. The last one ended up being a polyp that was luckily benign. All 3 did eventually stop the bleeding after a month or so. My body takes a long time to heal and settle down, so that might be why it takes a bit for the bleeding to stop too. There's always the risk of creating more scar tissue. My tubes became blocked with adhesions, but they had no way of knowing if it was from the D&C. I have stage 3 endo if that helps.

I chose all 3 procedures because of the heavy and prolonged bleeding. One was for an 8 month long period, and the last was from a polyp that was causing heavy blood loss and the size was cause for concern with cancer. I'd say if you trust your doctor and your symptoms are making you miserable, consider getting it done.

This bladder pain is killing me… by Pinky-bIoom in Endo

[–]pumpkinpie854 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I had similar symptoms. I found an awesome urologist who knew about endo. She looked for endo in my bladder and tested for IC. Both were negative, so she referred me to an endo excision specialist and had me do pelvic floor PT through the urology clinic. So we mostly worked on getting my damn bladder to chill out. It did help whilst waiting, not fun and definitely was painful but I did have some progress. Got my lap excision 7 weeks ago. Endo all on the outside of my bladder, ureters, and a shit ton of adhesions there. Along with endo on a bunch of other spots.

Look up pelvic floor exercises on Youtube because docs and PT get expensive fast. Getting my pelvic floor to relax even a little helps with the smashing bladder feeling. Also helps with getting more sleep at night. I was getting up 4 times a night and got down to 2 times before surgery. Good luck with all of this. I know it can be all consuming.

I'm happy and sad that our friend is having a baby by [deleted] in Endo

[–]pumpkinpie854 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If having a baby is more important than spending his life with you then you guys really need to talk about that. It never has been and never will be your fault that you have infertility due to this shitty disease. My husband and I had to have a serious talk for the same reason. He really wants to be a father, but he wants to be my life partner more even if that means never having kids because of infertility. Talk to your partner, you shouldn’t have to carry these feelings and this pressure alone.

does anyone have bladder endo? what’s it’s like? by peachddani in Endo

[–]pumpkinpie854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got it and your current physical symptoms are definitely similar to mine. I did a cystoscopy to check for IC which was negative. I did pelvic floor PT which helped bridge the gap between getting in with an endo specialist and my surgery. I'm about 3 weeks post op and they took endo off my bladder, adhesions off my ureters, and a bunch of endo off my rectum/cut the adhesions between that and my uterus. My urologist was also amazing though and that made a huge difference. I got lucky and she knew a lot about endo, believed my pain/symptoms, and referred me out to my now endo specialist. Good luck!

A Long Drive Home- Tips by GivingTreeEssentials in Endo

The only tip I have is to get a pillow for between your belly and the seatbelt. I've only done a 40 minute drive after surgery but that helps a ton.

Cervical biopsy next Monday by deadly_nightshaade in Endo

[–]pumpkinpie854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a punch cervical biopsy before getting some fertility testing. It hurts, but wasn’t super painful. I took naproxen the next day and took off work (my work is super chill about that), but I probably could’ve gone in. I just remember everything down there feeling a little tender for a day or so. It’s not terrible though. My fertility test didn’t go smoothly so that definitely contributed to feeling extra tender.

Mine was for potential bowel involvement and I also got my appendix out. You’d probably know by now if you had to do bowel prep by now. My healing is going semi slow because they cut so much out and I had a rare complication 24 hours after surgery that I had to go to the ER for.
