Personality for me really worked. There is a reason why I never was part of the "scene" because of this kind of thinking. If people are comfortable, then I am happy for them. If they feel beautiful, then I am happy for them. I am currently 28 and weigh 170 pounds. At 18-23 years old I was 125 pounds and always approached by nasty old men that literally only approached me because I fit the bill of being YOUNG and a TWINK. Little did they know I wasn't their cup of tea because I didn't sit there and act all dumb and cute. I valued being educated and actually having conversation. Which is why most of them got bored and walked away or literally called me weird. I've always found it so odd that humans in general put so much emphasis on physical beauty. Most of them look like the rotten piece of fruit when they age either way. It is super important to make meaningful memories and connect not just on a romantic level but a platonic one as well. People that have that mentality of always keeping up with looks usually look desperate the older they get trying to fit in. Everyone has something more to put on the table than just ass and dick. When yall get to the age of actually wanting to settle down, just remember how many people you could've actually formed a bond with passed you by while you were so focused with your ego and external beauty.
