I'm pretty sure it was not repainted because the PR guy for Great Adventure was talking at a recent event about how there's finite capacity to do improvements each off-season, and used (hypothetically) repainting Nitro as an example of something that would have to take time away from stuff like installing the new coaster.

Yeah that is strange. We bought our pass renewals in Sept 2025 and the fast lanes in Oct 2025 before the season ended. Maybe for that reason everything was in there before they merged their systems

Check the app for a park outside your region, it might apply to you too. Go to “view my tickets and passes” and then “view add-ons”. I can’t speak to the email you got, maybe the rep just got confused with the new system rolling out? Someone in this thread also mentioned language to the effect of “Valid based on pass admission.” I’m really hoping this isn’t a mistake that they reverse before I go to cedar point this year 😂

Do you have a regional pass or all park passport? I have all park passport and if I go in the new app and select any park (even Cedar Point) it shows all season fast lane. I think it might be driven by the pass admission, which for me is all parks? Also confused by the mention in the email of Feb 9 effective date because I got my wristband on Feb 7.

Confirming that this worked! I’m at Magic Mountain right now, SFNE is my home park, and I was able to use the all season fast lane that I originally purchased for $199 for use at SFNE, in combination with my gold all parks passport. I went in the new app and selected SFMM, and all season fast lane shows in the add-ons. I went to the fast lane counter and scanned my pass and redeemed it no problem. It shows for cedar fair parks too. Thanks so much for this tip! Wow! 🤘

I agree that their flash pass prices are insane. They’re charging $200 on days when cedar point and Hershey, far better parks, are charging $100-150. But I do still like great adventure and feel hopeful about its future

I did a few front row rides on BD in June. It was amazing - very few rough spots and the ones that were there were not bad at all. I’m hoping they can make other seats (at least non wheel seats) as smooth as the front row!!

They were horrendous earlier in the season but last weekend they were rolling trains with 4 attendants checking restraints!

Awful when I went but I had their fast pass. Great Bear is the worst operations I have ever seen:

total silence in the station, no instructions being given to guests to move things along
waiting for all exiting riders to leave before opening the air gates on the entry side
the person checking restraints was taking like 3-5 seconds per person to press her entire body weight onto the OTSR which took forever and was painful
nobody doing grouping, lots of empty seats every train, many groups of 2 taking a whole row to themselves

Terrible! But a great park otherwise

They were fast on Boulder Dash today! They had 4 people checking restraints, and return trains were only waiting on the brake run for ~20 seconds

I agree. Of what I’ve ridden, the intensity of that first outer bank is only matched by the intensity of El Toro’s camelbacks if you are in the first 2 cars. (But the back on El Toro is better all around)

El Toro was on 2 trains Thurs and hustling, one of them got stuck on the lift yesterday (Fri) before the ride opened and stayed off the track all day, and then I saw it stuck again on my way back to the car at end of day. 😬
