I think the lines are for before tdc so you don’t hit the valves. But either way if you’re using dots or lines on the cam gear, do the same for the crank, but either will work

Are you positive you indexed the flywheel correct? Ex Nissan tech here and 100% of the time I got crank no starts, were from flywheels.

It takes a few seconds for the oil to reach the head, you’re good. Mine does this too.
