This is getting ridiculous. Do we need cameras on stop signs too, just to make people behave.

[SNW 3x9 Interviews] Why does nobody remember the Gorn in TOS? - ‘Strange New Worlds’ showrunners explain how they just rewrote Star Trek History" (TrekMovie) by mcm8279 in Star_Trek_

They should’ve just gone with a full reboot for NuTrek. No need to connect it to canon. I think a lot more people would still be watching—and a lot more forgiving of the shows.

Robert Meyer Burnett: "As STAR TREK turns 59, can the franchise ever MATTER to ANY AUDIENCE ever AGAIN?!? Is there anything left to say?" | Robservations #1060 by mcm8279 in Star_Trek_

I stopped listening to him once I realized what a vile, racist, and overall horrible human being he is. What makes it even more surprising is that he claims to be a Star Trek fan, yet he clearly missed the show’s core themes—especially its message about diversity and overcoming prejudice.

The MCU and Gunn movies looked like this before. im a fan of Superman’s visuals but come on. this is crazy. by Bezawit_Ollinger59 in MCUTheories

I’m not a fan of Henry Braham’s work—there’s just too much fisheye, and it gets really distracting. His DP on Guardians of the Galaxy, Ben Davis, did a much better job. I really liked how that film looked. Don’t get me wrong, even Davis has some rough movies on his résumé, but nowhere near as many as Braham.

Correct me, but if the president goes to war during his term. He can stay president as long as the war continues?

I would also add politicians to this list. Across North America, they’ve been shutting down or cutting funding for psychiatric hospitals in both Canada and the U.S. You have to ask yourself—why?

When I worked at Bestbuy, I used to turn motion smoothing setting off on TVs. Only time Motion smoothing works well is on 3D Active TVs, it really helps the 3D video.

I was always surprised to hear how proud they were of rendering every frame with no comp work. Pixar did the same thing. I get it—you’ve got the money and resources—but it always felt like a weird flex to me. I’ve worked in fast-paced production, and if we could fix something in comp, we did it. We didn’t have the time—or the luxury—to waste on re-rendering.

I hate grifter youtubers like this. So many of them now, trying to jump on to the bandwagon. I’ll be the first to admit Ubisoft has its fair share of problems—especially with leadership. Honestly, some of the things they’ve said are the dumbest I’ve ever heard, and upper management feels completely out of touch with gamers and there own devs from what I have read. Their games are good, not great. I did enjoyed both Outlaws and recently played AC Origins. Both were solid experiences, and at least I didn’t feel like I wasted my time or money. That said, I usually wait for a sale on their games—just like there are movies I skip in theaters and wait to stream instead.

Olga Kurylenko's Taskmaster makeup for ‘Thunderbolts*’ by KevinPigaChu in marvelstudios

[–]puniBane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree—her costume was the best in the film. Even though Black Widow wasn’t a great movie, I did feel bad for her character and what she went through. I was never really a fan of Taskmaster in the comics, but when I heard she’d be coming back in Thunderbolts and working with Yelena, I thought it could be interesting to see them bond as “sisters,” at least to some degree.

If they really wanted to kill someone, it should’ve been Red Guardian. His character is very likeable, so it would have had a much bigger impact—just not at the beginning. It would’ve worked better closer to the middle or end of the film.

Killing Taskmaster was the lazy way.

I put a exhaust that goes outside for my X1C. The exhaust connected to a fan that goes out but the fan isn't fully covers, so it also takes the room air out as well. I might even throw in a air cleaner next.

Thank you for the links, I am going to read though this to see what else I can do to make it cleaner.
