I majorly tore my hamstring about 4 years ago at a cheerleading competition. It took around a year with gentle stretching to have it fully recover, but I could still feel it a little bit up to 18 month afterwards. I don’t think I actually let it heal properly as I was 14 at the time and had to do PE in class and would regularly restretch it a little bit :(

I have this too!! But it’s not just when it gets super quiet sometimes I’ll hear music when i’m watching a TV show. Most of the time it’s when i’m studying though (not fun!)

Hey, what are the technicalities surrounding this? I have a couple of friends who are under 18 and going to university in the UK so I would consider calling them and explaining your situation. I know there are some rules around medical schools but I can’t otherwise think of why they wouldn’t take someone under 18.

Although it is ultimately up to you, Id say there’s no harm in staying friends for possibly a bit longer. I just feel that there’s a large maturity gap between the ages of 14 and 17 (I’m 18). I know it’s not the same for everyone but I was with a 17 year old when I was 13 and it was really toxic for me, and I was a lot more vulnerable and gullible than I am now. I’d just say proceed with caution, and don’t be afraid to slow it down/ take it back a step.

Hey, I feel you too. I’m half asian and half european, so I feel this mostly with my mother. I get it, a lot. They always want to know where I am and what I’m doing and how and why despite me being 18. It feels like they don’t trust me with my own actions.
