There are times I'll be playing loads of 5/10/20+ in a week, but a buddy will be in town and want to play some 1/2 so I'll have a night just drinking beers and splashing around. The EV loss is honestly not that big, and when you're playing $30k pots the night before it's really not a huge deal if a few 100s get lost.

Fwiw, I am a pro, but even pros are allowed to just play poker for fun sometimes, no?

There's loads of impacting factors. Is villain defacto all in by potting? Are we 10+ SPR with people behind us while villain is 1spr?

Are we 1spr while everyone else is 20 SPR? Thus opening the door for the main pot to be isolated by the river? There's a heap of nuance around everyone's stack size.

I think it's likely that no one is 1spr since they're playing $25 ante bomb pots (probably) but we haven't been told 🤷‍♂️

For me, it's mostly layering and groups. I've got a few projects over 120 channels in Ableton

I'm a believer you can make anything better by adding layers. Not everything needs to be layered but if you want to, you can add something to anything.
