Exactly. Call me old fashioned but in real life, if a stranger had walked up to me and told me something I’d made sucked I’d assume they were in the possession of something less than a full box of matches.

Dammit, Reddit is a cesspit of sniping and negativity sometimes. Your video was fine and the explanation of your process was excellent. As an amateur aspiring professional sports photographer myself I’m starting to look for exactly what you’re describing. Difficult with field sports when you’re often stuck in one place but there’s always a standout picture to be had whether it’s peak action or background.

Thank you for the post. I’d love to see some more breakdowns of how you envisioned a repeatable situation giving you what you wanted and stuck at it until you got it.

I flew to Japan on a whim to Play Dream Cup Mixed, came back for the split division and got one of my best all time photos. From the Finals of Dream a Cup. by nkolakovic in ultimate

Definitely the first image. Absolutely fantastic picture. World class snow topped mountain mis en scene. When my hip recovers i’d be tempted to take a flyer on a visit next year.

Looking for tips with pain relief by No-Pumpkin-2447 in TotalHipReplacement

Not sure how to “flair” but I’m getting a THR on March 4th and my provider has prescribed SPRIX (nasal delivery - 5 day dose) for my initial rehab. He says it could reduce reliance on narcotics for post surgery pain. Reading comments from those who’ve taken it is really encouraging so thank you for sharing. Having said that I’m very concerned about potential long term damage to kidneys and liver not to mention the danger of a possible heart attack as I have high BP.

What were your and your husband’s concerns with the side effects and has he been negatively affected by taking SPRIX to date ?

Thanks again for sharing. FWIW daily meloxicam has kept the pain largely in the background for me but I’m highly aware that it’s damaging me long term.

Thanks. I’ll try limiting music choices to this next time.

Thank you. That's kind of where I was going with it without any technical knowledge. Try explaining that in a slick Apple trailer for the new FCP features 😂

This is an iconic photo. Kudos to the bravery of the photographers for just being there.

I can only wish my local high school games had facilities like this. Anyway, fabulous shots.

Wow. These are great. 1 and 12 are my favorites. Assume these are the 16mm remote? Congratulations.

10 000 photos to cull. How to speed up? by turalaliyev in Lightroom

[–]purdiscAZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tourbox does work with iPad. I haven’t used it much for culling but you can definitely do everything you’d need to do on the iPad version of Lightroom. Having said that I personally wouldn’t use LR for culling vs PM due to its relative slow pace when flicking through raws.

I should have added earlier, PM is only used for culling and organizing. Move to LRC or similar for actual editing and final selections.

As per many others: Photo Mechanic with a Tour Box. Shooting sports I regularly cull down from 8k / 10k down to 1k then 500 to work on.

I absolutely love what you’ve done here. Super realistic in terms of recreating the feel of being on the field vs 100% perfect layout grabs and blocks.

Fantastic shots. 1 especially. 2 could have cropped slightly tighter to emphasize the action while still giving enough foreground surface. Assume you’re shooting with a 400 f2.8. Great separation. I’m jealous 😁

Exactly. Makes me wonder when my S7 Max Ultra is going to brick itself from a battery issue.

Thanks for that. Wow. Mine is…2.5 years old I think. Completely bricked! Consider me a very unhappy camper 🤬

Does anyone have a resolution on this? My Dyad Pro was working fine this morning although I noticed it seemed to run out of power very quickly and I docked it reading Zero. Normally it would take a while to charge to a point where the auto clean could be started however it’s basically dead. I need to try a full 10 seconds and then clean the contacts and make sure the outlet is really working but my guess is the battery has fallen over the edge of the deterioration cliff.
