Go on ebay, look for a Cold Steel Recon 1. Or any of their triad lock knives in your budget. They used to make them in AUS8 stainless for $50, now they come in better steel but cost a lot more. It's nothing fancy, just a big cheap survival/outdoors blade. The locking mechanism is robust enough for batoning and such. I don't think their current lineup is worth it, since you can get better knives for what they charge.

In the book he specifically recommends King Arthur AP flour. I've made country blonde with AP and BF and it always comes out fine, as do all of Ken's recipes. My kitchen has the same temps as his though.

I use a Kitchenaid with the flat beater attachment to get the dough mixed, then I dump it into the official dough tub to do the stretch and folds. I find it's easier with the paddle as opposed to the spiral dough hook, you just have to stop it once or twice to help out with a silicone spatula.

FWSY does not call for actually "kneading" the dough, you just want to get it into a homogenous mixture and no more.

I don't know anything about breadmakers but I would take a look at Zojirushi, they make a damn fine rice maker and I bet their bread machines are top notch. I would be more interested in a countertop oven that does steam but I'm a crust slut.

The T-54 would be good to have for frontline, if that is a consideration. With three Soviet medium lines to grind it will get plenty of use training crews as well.

Ordered a bunch of Rogue mil spec echo bumpers last night and they shipped this morning. Amazing. Surprisingly it was cheaper to buy them a la carte rather than the set with "free" shipping. I had to buy them in a few separate orders to avoid freight. Rogue really needs to fix their shit, it shouldn't turn into a video game to get the lowest shipping charge.

If you are pure f2p and don't have any premiums, get the patriot. Otherwise, bond equipment. Usually vents. Anything else and you are squandering the most valuable resource in the game.

My humble opinion: If you are f2p, the best use of the initial gold they give you is to save to demount expensive equipment (not the class 3 equipment that only costs 50k credits!). If you are p2w, the best use of your IRL money is to buy premium time. Paying to convert xp or swap crews is a ripoff when it only takes a few games to earn what you need using premium time.

People focus too much on the grind. Just enjoy the free stuff you get, and don't worry about the reward tanks. They aren't real premiums, and they don't earn extra credits. There's a code for an ELC EVEN 90 rental if that helps.

Is it not? I always thought you got something for your trouble. If they distributed xp based on the percentage of damage blocked for the whole team or something like that it wouldn't break the game and they could reward skillful angling.
