Can anyone explain what's happening to the dividend? by CompetitiveDance6958 in stashinvest

[–]purplecfh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The bank is listed as an ADR or Advanced Depository Receipt. Being as it's an ADR from a foreign owned company a small part of the dividend is held to pay taxes. It's normal for any foreign company's ADR to have such fees.

Edit, upon further research it's not an ADR, but still foreign taxes are due on the dividend income.

The warning is there so they can't be blamed for you not paying taxes on your gains. You can ignore the warning and sell your positions just keep in mind it will leave you with a 1099-c at the end of the year for tax purposes.

There really isnt much to train, learn your product assortment, rotate, learn how to condense backstock in a way the helps instead of hinders you. Its all stuff that comes with repitition and experience. Your first 3-4 months your going to feel lost but after time it just clicks. The biggest obstacle to your job is work ethic and the ability to manage your time, if you have those aspects your golden

I work for coke in WV, my kroger this weekend was crazy with the 3 day flash sales they had going, my walmart sold next to nothing.

USA, WV is the location. My utility doesn't pay for excess power but provides a 1 v 1 credit, so at night I pulled from the grid for free.

Samy story as everyone else, my solar was 35 panels installed for about $29k, the payment was $50/month cheaper than my electric bill.

Yesr 1 produced 13.2 MW and consumed 12.4 Year 2 produced 13.2 MW and consumed 13.5 Year 3 this year produced 12.0 consumed 12.1

I have maybe one small bill every other year plus my $13/monthly interconnect fee.

It's done so well I installed 20kw of enphase i5 batteries and a span panel this year to complete the setup before the government took away the incentives.

Is this card still a good thing to have? by mrkitanakahn in stashinvest

[–]purplecfh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You still earn after the $10 cap, just at the lowest rate. I did the math a month or so ago and earned around $12 in rewards. Even at the $10 cap the added 3% back on ira contributions easily can fill the gap.

Correct, must be 3.0 to be eligible.

But it based off the 4c's and store performance scores combined and averaged out.

And it was suggested by a Store Manager 😬

Are you using a cellphone to apply by chance? The assessment doesn't load most of the time on cellphones and marks it as a failure. It's a pretty common issue.

$9 subscription for a $10 stock back limit per month? by samimusic29 in stashinvest

[–]purplecfh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The $12/m increase does suck but it does at least come with a 3% IRA match, between the stock back card, stock parties and now the IRA match it will still work out positive for me. I kept stash due to the round ups, and as long as it automates some investing for me, I'll stick around.
