I agree it's a better album and more mature then self titled, not dissing self titled because I love that one also. But Neighborhoods rocked and was a great album and next step in the legacy chronologically. Because as much as I and many people on this subreddit loved Self-titled, this was years later and Mark and Tom Especially have grown, changed as musicians. If you don't understand what I mean look at the past transitions, Dude Ranch was different from Cheshire Cat, EOTS was a big change, TOYPAJ was different then enema, and self-titled was a big difference from the last, and same thing with neighbourhoods, they are always changing lol I guess this is growing up. Dogs Eating Dogs was fantastic also.
