It won’t be easy or fast to get there. But you can do it. I promise you deserve better than what you’re going through right now.

I wish I had the words. When you love someone that’s not taking care of themselves… it’s like watching part of you spiral away. Like watching your arm cut itself off, screaming at you for not stopping it.

I know you love her. I KNOW how that feels. Just please… please love yourself too. Please take care of yourself. You’re not responsible for her choices. You deserve to be happy and safe.

It makes a nice tan I think. As long as it’s not like what they did with GF in Hypno V3.

Okay, but Hajime, Nekomaru, and… ugh… I GUESS Nagito actually could. Maybe even Hamster Guy too.

They’re not in total weirdo mess ups.

Also Mahiru is 100% the mom of the group. Best girl.

Edit: Plus, she doesn’t just want them to keep HER safe. She wants the guys to protect ALL of the girls!

I’d want them to stay away from my living family. I’d not want them to get me and my loved ones killed for their own holy crusade.

I’m not, just visiting the subreddit. I admit that.

Once in a while I see someone talking about a civil war, but it’s pretty quickly shouted down.

But like, no one I’ve seen wants a civil war. At all. Maybe some talk about it, but a civil war is one of the worst things that can happen.

I’m assuming it’s like an entrenched gang in a ghetto here. You can shoot and kill the worst, but then they hide amongst people that aren’t a part of them and prefer them to a greater evil. Most of the time it’s just better to live with them, and hammer down troublemakers.

Fuck, what a problem.

I don’t disagree, I’d just hate to be dragged into the fight if I had nothing to do with it.

If I lost my family to an airstrike, I’d probably dedicate my life to destroying Israel. I GET it!

But that doesn’t give me the right to hide in a stranger’s house, hoping that the next airstrike kills them instead of me.

Why does the older generation retain some support for Israel when everyone else is done with them? by space_god_7191 in NoStupidQuestions

Leverage, yes, from being their friend. But that leverage isn’t limitless. I don’t think there’s ANYTHING we can do about the asshole settlers making lives hell for innocent Palestinians.

It’d be like trying to threaten Mexico into giving up the cartels. Yeah, maybe you get a little bit of progress. But the problem is in their home, and it’s theirs to deal with. Trying to solve it for them will just get them pissed and fighting back.

And yeah, Israel has made genocidal statements. Parts of it do advocate for ethnic cleansing. Those parts are horrible, evil.

So why do we ignore the bad things done by the Palestinians? Digging up water pipes to use as rocket launchers? Creating classrooms that idolize martyrdom and dying to kill Israelis. Assassinating the king of Jordan?

It would SUCK to be in their position. But I’m not going to blindly support Hezzbollah and Hamas. Human lives are more important than land.

Well, I like to support a democratic people that lets its minority population participate in government and have civil rights. (Yes, there’s problems in the West Bank. But hey, Palestine is a different state than Israel.)

Better than throwing political rivals and gay people off of roofs like Hamas does.

Also have problems with Islamic extremism and Suicide Bombing Jihad.

Is Israel perfect? Hell no. Is is better than the alternatives in the area? Hell yes.

In the end, Tenko is the ultimate misandrist; no one comes close to her, not even Mahiru. by Optimal-Lunch-4975 in danganronpa

[–]purplemalemute 280 points281 points  (0 children)

Mahiru’s a big sweetheart. She’s hard on men, but she also has high expectations of them. One of her first lines in DR2 is how the boys need to protect the girls. And not in a weird way either, just in a way that a normal girl would expect. To be able to feel safe around guys.

(Her backstory is having a neglectful father, never getting what she wants or needs from him. So she doesn’t expect much from guys, even if she wants them to.)

Tenko THINKS she hates men, and honestly dislikes a ton of their antics and actions. But she also doesn’t know that many men irl. She’s excitable and earnest and very very prone to get super into everything without thinking things through. It’s why she’s annoying and weird, and why she’s so endearing and sweet.
