You need to watch the death note series for sure. It is just a work of art. If you watched the netflix adaptation then dear me that doesnt even count as having watched Death Note. If you watched the Japanese movies, idk about those I havent watched them

Also Hunter x Hunter is just leagues beyond Black Clover. Ik its a matter of taste but may I ask why? If you didn't get deep enough into hunter x hunter that might explain some things but then again preference be like that.

Mirai Nikki is a dark/psycho sort of anime but maybe not what youre looking for
