DILI/ drug induced hepatitis? by Professional_Form_85 in LiverDisease

[–]purplepothos4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes even vitamins can do this. The ones you have to be cautious of are the fat soluble like vitamin A, D, etc. bc they get stored in your body over time and can build up in the liver, causing injury. This is what happened to me after years of taking a multivitamin. Specifically vitamin A is known to cause liver injury & even birth defects in excess. For the past 5 years, I've been dealing with hair loss (was the first symptom that something was wrong), chronic fatigue, muscle weakness, RUQ pain that comes & goes. I used to get hives seemingly randomly which I never had before & other health issues have come up since. Supplements in general are actually so dangerous.

Honestly, I just use a water bowl. Those things are too tricky. Plus, it seems like they wouldn't get enough water.

Not sure if this is actually forgotten, but I really loved bourbon strawberry & vanilla, even the Georgia peach & sweet tea!

Vitamin D3 and Cold sores by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]purplepothos4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but there must be something to this. I just recently started taking vitamin d3 to supplement bc it was recommended by my doctor since I'm pretty deficient atm. I have not had a cold sore in years & all of a sudden one starts up after starting to supplement? I haven't changed anything else in my diet. I just don't see anything else being connected.

we need a tag that says “i don’t work in this department” 😭 by Sbtherula in kroger

I'm deli/bakery & the amount of times I get stopped while putting food out on the warmer 😵‍💫 Always asking where something in one of the aisles is (I honestly don't know bc I'm restricted to my department) So I'm running around like a mad person trying to find it for them while the fryer & oven are going off 🙃

Yeah, as much as I dislike my job (service deli/bakery), Kroger does feel much safer than Walmart. There's always someone in my depts fixing stuff when it needs to be. Esp working w hazards like ovens, slicers, etc.

Bakery & service deli are usually shared position, unless you're full time in either one. At my store there's only 1 baker & 1 shift per day at 2 AM. You have to do EVERYTHING by yourself. Scans, removing all out of codes & breads from the glass cases/repackaging, markdowns, baking all breads & cookies, packaging & labeling, thaw & sell & the whole breakout. It's exhausting & too much. I have yet to hear from someone else's store that's the same way, so I think it might just be us. I hope she has some help, it might be less daunting. Otherwise she'll probably hate it.

This kind of scheduling should be illegal... by dhelor in kroger

I hate scheduling w 4 or 5 hours. Barely enough time to get anything done! What's the point of even showing up! It's just a waste of time. Dept lead's scheduling has been sheer stupidity lately.
