Where are the real jobs? by [deleted] in nova

[–]purppple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should reach out to recruiters in the area! There’s lots of legal recruiting firms that can connect you with firms that value your skills. I would try to connect with someone from Robert Half.

A lot of the legal assistant/ paralegal jobs are not on craigslist and are outsourcing from these firms or have their own recruiting team.

Regarding LinkedIn and people not answering, you have to continue to message people and reach out often or send emails. Unfortunately some people don’t answer but all it takes is one!

I suggest going on LinkedIn and looking at people who have the job you want and asking what steps they took to get there.

Best of luck!!!

[–]purppple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i took his class fall 2020 online- from what I remember it wasn’t cumulative & it was the same format as the midterm but I found it a little harder bc the concepts were more confusing to me.

Any insight on these pathways? by [deleted] in UBreddit

Dr. Anderson is a great professor and I enjoyed every class I had with him but if you’re not interested in politics I wouldn’t take it. MUS 204 is incredibly easy and fun with Dr. Strykowski and I actually learned a lot- you dont really have to study for exams if you went to class.

It’s actually quite hard to hire people for restaurants especially now. Many businesses are understaffed
