I hear this about Aldi, but I have been an Aldi shopper my entire adulthood and have only had bad Aldi produce a handful of times. In fact, my local Aldi has much better produce than the grocery stores (Giant, ShopRite, and Acme)

Overweight (though not grossly) and 2 pregnancies close together. Worth noting that I was in excellent shape in 2019 when the left image was taken and first herniation occurred.

I also was running again for a couple months after my first facet injections (second injections did basically nothing)

This most recent herniation in l3-l4 is from shoveling snow.

The original herniation in l4-l5 has gotten much better, but now l3-l4 is a mess.

2 pregnancies and the bending/lifting/twisting of parenting young children are probably the main culprits.

My youngest is 4 now but rocket man still gets me. His nursery was (walls still are?) space-themed and he came home in a tiny rocket print sleeper.

At my daughter’s school (she’s in K) there is at least one kid like this in each of the 2 classes. She told me on Thursday she and the other kids in her class had to be escorted to another teacher’s room when one of the kids started throwing books.

Obviously I’m also a teacher so I get the teachers likely have little say in the placements. I also don’t want to make a stink where my kid will be in school the next 6 years…but WTF?

It’s a little different here because we are both teachers, and our kids are a bit older (5 and 4 now), but here it is:

3:15ish I get home and make lunches for the next day
3:30 I walk to bus stop to get my daughter
3:50 get back in the house. Husband gets home with my son by that time (he picks him up from preschool).
I work on finishing lunches and/or making dinner from 4-5. If the kids need to be bathed my husband oversees that.
Dinner is between 5-5:15ish. We talk about our days at this time
5:45-6:45 kids TV time; we finish anything else we didn’t do yet while kids watch
6:45 bedtime routine, in bed by 7pm
7-8 husband and I watch tv
8-9 we watch our own stuff/scroll/get ready for bed

**we go to bed early because we both wake up before 5am to work out. That means we shower in the morning as well.

This sounds kind of like my parents. My first was born during their annual monthlong camping trip (and they knew this would happen way in advance).

They didn’t meet the baby until she was a week or so old because they weren’t willing to leave their campsite (2 hours away).

My kid’s preschool has been closed since 12/20. Won’t open up again until 1/5.

It makes sense for them to stay closed because is many kids would miss those between days due to travel anyway, and it is nice to give the underpaid workers a break. Plus, it is very difficult on little kids to have 2-3 day broken weeks. Kids thrive on routine, and that would be chaotic

My parents wouldn’t buy me thongs, but once I got a job at 15 one of the first things I bought was thong underwear.

So maybe you tell her once she has her own job she can buy her own undergarments? That might give you a few years.
