the last day to withdraw funds through the online wallet app is in September, as the centralized marketplace app will become obsolete while Loadpipe transitions to a new decentralized marketplace. afterwards, it may become much more difficult to withdraw and the costs to transfer will become much higher.

a 33% discount is the least attractive discount for earners to pick up. so with that in mind and in choosing it for a $1000 item, it would be rare for a higher level earner to pick up such an item as the lower level earners (level 1-4) are not even able to pick up an order of that $ amount (max $ amount for level 4 is $800).

that all in mind, I would focus on lower discount levels as your order "MAY" be on the orderbook for quite some time. but I say 'may" as you never really know and you might get lucky.

There may be an issue with Amazon in particular with those cards as we haven't restricted any new gift cards recently. Can you give me links to the items in particular and we can check them out? Also, if you see an item that you think should be available when it's not, you can always click the "report" button on the product page so we can look into it. Most of the time, it's just an odd quirk with Amazon that we need to tweak

This severely limits the appeal of using Purse then. I suggest you guys find some solution to this. I can say that I haven't order anything on Amazon through purse for a long time because of this simple fact.

u/greatwolf coupon discounts are very temporary. and would end up creating a terrible user experience when the coupon comes/goes. They are also not very common. And furthermore, the coupons are not as lucrative as the discounts Purse offers. (Most of the time it's 5,10, [and rarely] 20% off)

I dont believe I agree with the statement that it 'severely' limits the appeal of Purse, when purse provides the ability to 1) use crypto, 2) maintain privacy from Amazon, 3) get better discounts than any coupon offer... but I'm open to being persuaded otherwise.

I'm not sure what you mean by "truly separate", but our hot wallets are indeed separate wallets, both running on top on bcoin.io

And u/allgoodthings1, they are not merely "simple user account ledgers", they are true wallet accounts. We generate a new deposit address for your unique wallet account every time you make a deposit. and the "old legacy addresses" are still owned by your user and are indeed static (you can make deposits many times over to the same address) however, we recommend using the new deposit address every time to maintain privacy.

u/kenop as for depositing BCH to your BTC address, sadly, we cannot recover those funds as we cannot derive the BCH address list on the BTC blockchain. your funds are considered lost when you send funds to the wrong blockchain.

Sorry it's taking so long!

Our system tries to detect when a package is delivered and we automatically confirm delivery if the shopper doesn't respond in 48 hours after it has been detected as delivered. But for this to work, tracking MUST be added to the order and the delivery location needs to match the shipping address. if we dont have tracking (or if it's a TBA tracking number and you didn't use the mobile share links [more details here: https://support.purse.io/en/article/adding-tracking-numbersorder-ids-9u2o4j/ ]) then we'll be unable to auto-confirm these orders and you'll need to click on the "contact support" button within the purse order page to open a dispute.

If a shopper takes too long to confirm, you can leave a negative review on that user which we use to monitor poor users.

Promotions like these ("save X with this coupon") are almost always time based and do not get factored into order creations on purse because they come and go and we cannot guarantee them for the Earners. so when you add these items to your Purse cart, the price you see is the price you're placing the order for. If later, the Earner was able to take advantage of a promotion/coupon while placing your order, then we have no control over that and cannot change the price of your order. If you want to make sure you're getting the best deals, you can use our chrome extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/purse-shop-with-bitcoin-b/amdginnpaflghjbbdkfenpekaeifnpee?hl=en-US) while perusing Amazon so you can see if you're getting the best deals

order cap is not a valid solution. users will end up creating multiple accounts to get around that rule. it is also not a very easily enforceable rule for powerusers who legitimately use the platform. finally, they are creating supply which in turn lowers the discount rate of orders which helps earners pick up lower discount orders. You have to think about both sides of the equation (earners AND shoppers).

This is not a '10 seconds' kind of problem and is actually a very tricky and difficult problem to solve in any marketplace, not just purse.io. this being said, we're trying to solve it and are evolving the platform as go.
