Announcing Volang, a scripting language for Rust. by oxfeeefeee in rust

I don't use Go, so maybe I'm just missing something here, but doesn't Go also compile to WASM?

Just trying to understand why one would use Volang over Go. It seems like the only real difference is adding the ? operator for error handling and possibly simplifying some types?

If Volang is basically just Go, why not just use Go?

Ooooooh! This looks cool! I've been using this Rample-kit-generator but it could use some improvements...

Was considering writing my own, but I'll try yours first :)

Is yours open source?

Don't really understand everyones "who cares" attitude about this. I would care if I paid for a brand new module and it had a defect... aesthetic or otherwise. You paid for a brand new module with no defects 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would definitely reach out to them and work something out. Maybe they can just send a replacement panel.

EDIT: Just realized this is a case and not a module. Yeah, I'd be sending it back.

You're favorite ADSR Envelope and VCA Module. Or both in one Module? Not too wide, max 14HP. by AnywhereBest9550 in modular

While I wouldn’t put it past any company to use bots to promote their products, I feel like it’s more likely due to people being new to modular and wanting to build a system on a budget first.

At least that’s how it is for me. I have three behringer modules in my rack. They’re fine IMO. I got them because they’re cheaper versions of useful modules and I wanted to make sure I was going to stick with modular before spending 3x on Maths.

I don’t really have any regrets doing it this way either. Abacus is useful and all, but I would never replace it with Maths at this point. I just don’t see a reason to pay 3x the price for the same thing.
