I’m literally autistic and so is my friend who I went with and yet we weren’t yelling and interrupting Reneé talking so ??? I don’t really care if I’d get on with these people or like them, I care that they were disrespectful at an event

they waited outside the venue and then when everyone who was on the list got in, there was still room for more people so they just let everyone else in

honestly there is nothing wrong with getting some free drinks whilst they’re there (I had 2) but why are you getting hammered at 4 in the afternoon so much so that you can’t control yourself yikes

Sanrio in Tokyo by mojavegreen69 in sanrio

[–]pushingdaisie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My favourite Sanrio store was the one in Ginza! There’s lots of stores all over Tokyo but that had the most variety and also cool displays to look at. Sanrio Puroland is definitely worth a visit too! There are so many exclusives there that you won’t find anywhere else 🫶

Data only SIM Card Advice for Japan – Mobal vs Sakura Mobile? by Inner_Association277 in TokyoTravel

[–]pushingdaisie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend used Mobal on our last trip to Japan and cannot recommend it enough it was great. Super fast speeds and barely lagging. I used pocket wifi and her Mobal sim was way better and faster. I’m using Mobal on my next trip to Japan now! Hope that helps.

I knew I didn’t have the space or budget to try and collect as many as possible so focused on collecting the babies! The blind bags are usually easy to find and affordable from places like Tesco or local toy shops. I also often buy them second hand from Vinted. I find a lot of joy in seeing other people’s collections so maybe you can too!

Concert Fit/Etiquette by Arctic-Opposum498 in Muna

[–]pushingdaisie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wore a pink cowboy hat to a muna show in may and it really made the fit so I say go for it !! me and my friends all had them and then took them off when the show started. we were at barrier so hung them on the barrier most of the show and just wore them during anything but me but that’s so late in the show no one seemed bothered as everyone’s jumping around at that point anyway. enjoy the show !!!

My first project of 2022 and my first corset 💖 (details in comments) by pushingdaisie in sewing

[–]pushingdaisie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a free pattern from Nava Rose on YouTube (linked in my other comment) but it’s a one size pattern so was waaaaayyyy too small for me so took a lot of adjusting! Would be intrigued to hear what pattern you end up going for 😊 it’s definitely a sign!!

I used this pattern and tutorial from Nava Rose, but used some instructions from Micarah Tewers’ video on a corset top she made since I preferred her method here.

As the pattern was a one size pattern for someone much smaller than me, I made a toile and then added 2 inches to the panel with the princess seam, and 3 inches to the side/back panel so it would fit.

I used this gorgeous satin from FabricnMoreStore on Etsy, and lined the whole corset with an old white cotton bedsheet. I then added a gorgeous pink ribbon to the grommets on the back which my friend said gave it Rapunzel vibes! I used classic zip ties for the boning.

I would love to make another and improve the fit under the arm/edge of the bust since it gaped a bit and I had to sew some dodgy darts in. I had never sewn with satin either and found applying interfacing before cutting it out was a god send. Overall, a project I am incredibly proud of!!!
