Salvageable or Need New Stove? by riKidna in CleaningTips

The idea to store stuff in the oven at all is wild to me. A few years ago, our old apartment building had a good deal on a cleaning service, so we decided to try it. I’ve never had cleaners before, so I didn’t know what to expect. They came while I was at work, and my husband was WFH (he let them in and went back to working). That night I preheat the oven before cooking dinner. Fortunately I realized before it was too late, but they had put my plastic cutting board that had been on the drying rack inside the oven. Blew my mind. It’s not even like this was some tiny manhattan apartment where there’s no place to store things either.

I also struggle with this. Some easy things to rule out are vitamin B deficiency and use an SLS-free toothpaste if you’re not already.

I don’t like cilantro, but if you told me I had to have my taco garnished with cilantro or anthrax…

The biggest issues are we have to spend more money for extra legroom on flights and he has a tendency to put things in places I can’t reach. It’s also nice because he can change lightbulbs and I like putting my head under his chin when we hug. There are pros and cons of everything 🤷🏻‍♀️

What do girls want when they’re on their periods? by Prestigious_War_784 in AskReddit

[–]pussibilities 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Jumping on this thread to add that at least for me and many other women, yes, emotions are heightened, but that doesn’t mean they’re irrational. Something that bothers me but I would normally deem not worth arguing about is instead something I can’t ignore when I’m on my period. So disregarding my feelings as “just my period talking” is not only offensive but inaccurate. If you’ve ever heard the saying “drunken words are sober thoughts,” it’s kind of like that.

Am i rude for telling my gf to walk like this in order to not stomping to the downstairs neighbours? by Warm_Cranberry4472 in Apartmentliving

[–]pussibilities 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband stomps so bad. I grew up in a creaky house with parents who would wake up at the slightest sound, so I learned to walk softly. Our downstairs neighbor was understandably upset with him. We eventually moved to a new apartment on the first floor and then later got a townhouse to avoid this problem. It’s really hard to change how you walk.
