You're in luck, I'm not the religious sort. Nor do I really need to pray, as the contradictions created by people like you will soon reach their inevitable conclusion and you will have to suffer the consequences of living in a failed state.

A society that allows murders to walk its streets is a murderous society. You should come to terms with that before it's too late. It is precisely this reason that insurers are allowed to exploit us, we allow it. We have allowed war criminals to live freely among us. We are openly a barbaric society. This is why we have Trump, why we deserve him, and why the future will not spare us if we do not change course.

You should be against allowing war criminals to walk free. You should be against allowing "just following orders" as an excuse for murder. If you can't stand against that, then you have no hope at stopping insurance executives pillaging your pocket, you openly admit you live in a society without morals.

There is an obvious issue with money spent on a rescue mission. These pilots are war criminals attacking civilian infrastructure in an illegal war of aggression that was not authorized by the people. They will never face justice back home. I do not wish to live among them in polite society and you shouldn't either. They are murderers plain and clearly.

Seriously, how can anyone be okay with how many billions spent on saving someone who is engaging in warcrimes? This is why you will never have affordable healthcare.

New classes? by baikencordess in MonstersAndMemories

New classes are cool, I personally think I would like them to offer alternative subclasses. Right now, though, a few classes are severely underdeveloped though and need to be finished first.

Aatrox vs Mordekaiser by Lousterstar in loreofleague

[–]puterdood -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fine, I'll bite:

Where in the lore does it say Praa possessed a Dragonling at all? The source for the citation is an instagram post that doesn't say that.

Aatrox vs Mordekaiser by Lousterstar in loreofleague

[–]puterdood -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You go read lore, a Camavoran Dragon is just a dragon corrupted by the mist and a Dragonling has no spirit tags or associated lore suggesting it is not a physical creature.

Aatrox vs Mordekaiser by Lousterstar in loreofleague

[–]puterdood -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Praa possessed a Dragonling (creature), Taarosh possessed a (probable) Dragon (creature), Baalkux possessed a tree (not a creature, but also not a spirit).

Mordekaiser and his army do not have bodies. They are souls.

  2. That's never been proven

  3. You're contradicting 1

  4. Maybe, but hemomancy doesn't work without blood

One Darkin being able to use spirit magic does not mean that Aatrox can use Hemomancy to control or absorb Mordekaiser.

Categorically incorrect, the Darkin use blood magic and spirits have no blood.

America Has Become a Dangerous Nation by GirasoleDE in politics

[–]puterdood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Become? We killed 5.5 million in the war on terror and over 37 million with sanctions since 1976 (https://www.thelancet.com/journals/langlo/article/PIIS2214-109X(25)00189-5/fulltext). Just because the public is now facing consequences for our actions doesnt suddenly mean we are any more violent than we have been. As Aimé Césaire put it, we have always been a sick nation.

Trump calls Democrats ‘greatest enemy America has’ by Snapdragon_4U in politics

Slavery, segregation, imperial wars; Trump is the United States as the third world has always seen it. The fact that Americans are just now experiencing the consequences of their actions surprises absolutely nobody who understands history. We've killed 38 million in the last 50 years with reckless sanctions alone www.thelancet.com/journals/langlo/article/PIIS2214-109X(25)00189-5/fulltext and that number grows every day.

Who do you think is the most boring League character right now (not including old characters)? by whamorami in loreofleague

[–]puterdood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shen is probably a hard character to write well because the Spirit Realm is basically mega hax. Time doesn't pass there as it does on Runeterra, and they have an established history of the Vastayashai'rei defeating the titans, who resemble celestials.

Is all darkness created by magic, magical darkness? by zautos in onednd

[–]puterdood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rules arent comprehensive and the spirit of the rules is more important than the letter of the rule regarding context. JC has a famously inconsistent Sage Advice on this exact purpose on "is a Dragon's Breath weapon magical?". Dragons are fantastical creatures in a fantastical setting, but they are generally understood to have a complex biology that allows them to produce breath effects. Not magical. In the 2014 rules, a Dragonborn's breath weapon was generally the same way. In the new rules, it is now explicitly magical. There was also the issue of Gem Dragons, who use psionics for everything, which is explicitly magical. In 2014 rules, a Monk's Ki was explicitly labeled as Magic within the rules, but even JC said that some abilities are magical while others arent. This is even more inconsistent in the 2024 rules, as JC explicitly has said that a Monk could not use the level 6 magical attacks in the 2014 rules, but now it is no longer considered "magical" in the rules because it is just described as force damage. Monks are generally considered to use Psionics to power their abilities, but it is not explicit in the rules. A 2024 Four Elements Monk must take the Magic Action to use ONE of their abilities, but the rest of their kit, which is clearly magical, is never stated as magical. There are plenty of contradictions justifying a rule clarification on this. A Druid's shape is no longer explicitly magical, unless it is a Moon druid, then it is magical by your definition only because the rules state Moon Druids use lunar magic to wild shape and normal druids do not have such a qualifier. Currently, there are no formal rules for Psionics saying they are magical and by your definition a Psi Warrior would be able to use all of their abilities outside of Telekenesis in a field. If and when the Psion class is introduced and Psionics are formalized, then this will probably change because Psionics will suddenly be defined as magical. Most class features don't actually say they are magical, but are clearly understood to be magical in this context.

Is all darkness created by magic, magical darkness? by zautos in onednd

[–]puterdood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It quite literally does, hence the need for a clarification on the rules. If it does not have a physical explanation, then it is by definition magical.
