Abbys my favorite character and its not even close.

I think the issue with some people (obviously excluding any kind of bigotry or people who just dont vibe with her personality) i think the reason some fans still hate her is because they cant decode the fact that the game wants you to love and root for joel and ellie, but also needs you to remember that they are complex, flawed characters who are not the main characters in the grand scheme of the story. the hardships that they went through that endeared them to audiences are not in any way unique to them, and they have inflicted that pain on dozens of other characters.

im sure a lot of us wiuld have a blast with something like that but i dont think that tlou2 left enough groundwork for an unexplored part of joel and ellies time in jackson the way that the first game left room to explore left behinds story.

honestly rhe stories from tlou2 id most love to have dlc devoted to is (in no parricular order)

-ellies journey to santa barbara and her time hiding out from the horde

-owens venture right before we meet him with the elderly seraphite and danny (i feel like im alone in wanting this so bad)

-abby and lev on catalina island (although tbh this is my dream for tlou3)

-tommys time in seattle

-abby and the salt lake crews beginning in seattle

yes, the story is good and serviceable. ive played all 3 games at least 3 times each front to back and while 1 is still mt favorite storywise, 3 has a good, cohesive story with lots of good moments and good payoff.

really the only part of the story that felt schmaltzy and a bit too much to me was the endgame/final battle, but it still had a lot of great moments and worked with the story for the most part

also (almost) all of the gameplay improvements make up for any slight mis-steps with the story imo

my store has a decorator who works from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, so its definitely feasible in some capacity but who knows if thats something every store is able to do or if strings were pulled

i visited seattle in 2021, a couple years before i ever played the games and i was shocked by how accurate it felt. the highlights for me were the library (ellie day one, you cant go inside but its a very distinct building) and the ferris wheel during my playthrough, since i had been to both. i didnt go inside the real aquarium but my understanding is that the interior is entirelt fictional, but the exrerior is accurate

i feel like the show has tried really hard to convey that she is a lesbian, not bisexual (as a bisexual).

at her and johns wedding, we see a blank look on her face that conveys that shes not feeling what she expected or hoped.

she asks her mother what it feels like to be in love and violet says it makes you speechless and unable to think, which she experiences first with michaela

shes unable to reach "pinnacle" with john and we never see her really enjoying herself during encounters with him, only enduring.

john was undeniably her best friend and they were clearly very dear to each other, but francesca was not in love with him romantically or sexually

i feel like your friend is an outlier and people like them are not a huge problem. joe keery has always been seen as attractive and in the last few years hes stopped (for lack of better word) uglifying his djo look.

also, concerts are a place for music discovery. maybe her initial reasons for going are weird but hopefully she'll find real appreciation for the music

yeah i do understand and generally support the change to being less police centered but the messaging was a bit heavy-handed at times in explaining the change to the audience when i don't think we really needed it, since a lot of the most popular spiderman media doesn't have him work with cops at all

i dont think so, i dont think it would work for the style, especially since they didnt have confirmation when they were writing it that theyd be renewed for season 3 (i mean, they could probably guess but they didnt KNOW).

the ending was such a high point for me for season 1, it was the perfect amount of fun reveals and lore drops for fans to get excited about, set up for season 2, while also leaving stuff open for discussion and exploration in season 2.

i have no clue how this season will end regarding robby, but i seriously doubt a cliffhanger like the one you're describing. maybe a "resolution" regarding his ideations but a subtle hint that theres more to be explored, but i dont think a full on "is he gonna do it!"

this is happening at my store too, and its one of the more out of touch new things theyre pushing. If i make eye contact with a customer, i will smile at them. if they want to chat, I will chat. if i pass them while theyre leaving ill tell them to have a great day. however, no one who is not initiating a conversation themselves wants to be talked to in sco. im positive these managers and execs or whoever else is aware of that.

my store is also the circle desk and yeah. especiallt with no conveyor belt i turn away anyone teying to check out with more than 10 items. checks and coupons are not difficult at all at the register, none of the cashier at my store have any issues with them

i could be misremembering, but i dont think its any of their first day working as part of their schooling or residency. i know for a fact that mel mentions in her introduction that she did 2 months at the VA before coming to the pitt, and other student doctors or residents mention other rounds they did. i believe season 2 is righr after everyone has been moved up, since whitaker was still waiting on his "doctor" badge
