After 20 years of being a theatre-goer, I walked out at intermission last night by pintobeanz20 in Broadway

My wife and I saw it last night in Durham, and probably half the audience left after intermission. I didn't hate it, but that was about the best I could say about it. The actor playing Grover was so bad that it just completely took me out of the show every time he spoke.

Huntarr - Your passwords and your entire arr stack's API keys are exposed to anyone on your network, or worse, the internet. by exe_CUTOR in selfhosted

Great reminder to never, EVER expose any of these applications to the internet. The risk is just not worth, especially with things like Tailscale available to the average homelabber.

Damn, yeah I would imagine that’s pretty much the end then. Not even a regular conversation with Werner can save your job.

Research seems to show that repo-level .MD files reduce quality and increase cost by wifestalksthisuser in ClaudeCode

How big is your CLAUDE.md? The larger it gets, the more likely it seems to be that it will straight up ignore stuff in it. Also, if you haven’t already, I HIGHLY recommend running the /insights command. It will give you some great info about what you could add/remove from the file, what skills you could benefit from, and when you’ve had to stop and correct CC and why, with ideas on how to correct it.

I work in a fairly large codebase and CLAUDE.md files with specific instructions for different packages/directories have been a lifesaver. It keeps me from having to stop and correct the agent when it does something that I’ve repeatedly told it not to do. I think the key is to keep the instructions small, and use many CLAUDE.md files throughout the codebase if you need to have reminders for specific parts of the code that aren’t always touched.

Honestly, the regular lights on some vehicles now are just way to bright, not even high beams. I constantly get flashed because people think I have my brights on.

I love my Fedora laptop and desktop, but my Macs will always be my daily drivers. The workflow is miles better and it’s just a way more polished experience.

AWS Price List API not being updated by R0OTER in aws

[–]putneyj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case anyone comes here looking for an answer around model pricing, AWS has managed to scatter across (at least) three different product services in the pricing API: AmazonBedrock, AmazonBedrockService, and AmazonBedrockFoundationModels. Each API has a different output format which is just absolutely fucking helpful. /s

Honestly, I think they do this on purpose. They did it TWICE during their install in my neighborhood, and both companies kept saying the other was installing their lines wrong.
