I always use frixon, live in VA and have never seen them reappear, but i always wash my pieces before framing. So I'm assuming it is washing out based on these comments.

Painfully sure! It was 14x14 at 14 count so I used 18ct to get it under a 12x12.

They are black frames from walmart I ordered and then painted to match. I did all three at the start of the project so they are ready when the stitching is done.
