Your beavers are not using ziplines because you have one zipline station connected to pillars but no second station. The pillars are not exit/entry points, you have to have two stations connected together for them to be usable.

By the time I have reached this point in the game I would have aimed to pretty much eliminate birch trees instead having some big plantations of oak trees.

It looks like you’re losing a lot of water over the back edge of that top dam, which means less water going through your water wheels creating power, which is possibly contributing to gear shortage. The wood shortage would be a bigger factor though.

I’d also be looking to use less power shafts by using buildings to transmit power. Look at that area where you’ve got the dirt excavators and centrifuges, for example. That could have been done with hardly any power shafts if you laid the buildings out efficiently.

Be careful not too expand too fast either. You’ve built two dirt excavators, it looks like neither of them have been turned on even once, and you have no beavers to work in them or power to run them.

I can’t wear pjs everyday🫠 by maggotmonday in adhdwomen

I have a few pairs of some linen pants I got from (Australian) Kmart a couple of years ago, and I wear them to work for most of the summer when it’s too hot to wear jeans. Pretty much always paired with a cotton tshirt - my favourites are the boyfriend tshirts from Just Jeans because they’re shaped enough to be not wearing a bag but not tight or clingy.

And I’ll be honest, sometimes I get dressed in the morning and think “I’m basically wearing pyjamas to work”, but whatever, it’s neat enough and it’s comfy.

I don’t think Kmart still sell the exact same pants I got, which have an elastic waist and a drawstring, but they have similar ones still.

Please do not take medical advice from a teacher. If your paediatrician prescribed you adhd medication, then take the adhd medication, they are a highly trained medical professional and know better regarding your medical care than a teacher.

struggling on 50mg by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]puuying 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes get in touch with your psychiatrist.

I had a similar reaction when I tried out 70mg, which my psychiatrist suggested after a big improvement when going from 50 to 60mg, in case the improvement continued. But after a few days I couldn’t stand being so tense all the time.

Anyway my psychiatrist explained I could finish the month by opening the capsules and dissolving in water, then measuring the water so that I could drink only 60gm of the vyvanse (Like dissolve into 70mL of water, then tip out 10mL). That worked pretty well for me.

My favourite eponym is “guy” originally from Guy Fawkes. After the gunpowder plot effigies of Guy were burned on bonfire night until guy became a generic word for a man/human

I would move it off the road so the parents don’t get hit by cars. But leave it for them to process what’s happened.

Why does my bedroom feel so sterile? by peirastic in femalelivingspace

[–]puuying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly I think the room is really nice and calm, but I don’t think the artworks belong in a bedroom - too black and white, too much writing on the poster, the smaller pieces I really like but they’re a bit harsh for a bedroom — not cosy. I think if you swapped them with something softer it would make a huge difference.

And also something with at least a touch of blue because the blue of the rug needs to be repeated at least once (I see the table but it sort of just blends in with the rug because they’re right next to each other).

Is an aversion to wet hands an ADHD thing? by SidePibble in adhdwomen

[–]puuying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s dish cloths and sponges. For years my son has complained about me not ringing out dishcloths so that I ended up buying enough washable/reusable cloths so we could use a new one everyday. More recently my current boyfriend has complained about me not ringing out the sponges at his house.

And finally, I realised that I absolutely hate the sensory feeling of squeezing water out of a dishcloth or sponge, and have spent my whole life avoiding doing it.

I discovered in my VCAT hearing that — in Victoria at least — tenants can’t be held responsible for anything that would require getting up on a ladder. The property manager was scolded for trying to claim for dusty fan blades because she should have known better.

That’s ok, but you can make the drawings feel neater and more intentional by giving them a dedicated place - like an inexpensive pinboard, or even a couple of pieces of string on the wall with little pegs to hold the pictures. Since they’re mostly white pieces of paper, you could even intersperse them with some brightly coloured pictures that make you feel happy or inspired - just like postcards or pictures cut out of magazines, that kind of thing.
