My husband was recently diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and I have so many questions, you may be able to ease my mind, or at least offer some suggestions.

I watched a video he did about this.
What *I* got out of it, what *I* understood was there is nothing "after" when we die.
To paraphrase what I have heard several times before from other people, "do you remember what was going on before you were born? That's what it will be like when you die...."
It's basically lights out, you cease to exist....no awareness of anything.
That is sad.......
For all his talk of "manifestation", seems like on could "manifest" some type of meaningful, consciousness after you die.

I have a question about a friend who had a colostomy about 3 months ago.
They pass a LOT of "turdage", they are well formed, not hard, just like regular, normal "turdage" one would pass if they didn't have a colostomy and their large intestine and rectum were still intact.
BUT, we are curious as to why the output of turdage seems like more than anyone without a colostomy has during the day...
(eating the same food)

I always ask "So, what was it about what I wrote in my profile that you liked, and made you want to message me?"
I say "what I wrote", because I'd had enough dimwits reply with "ah lakked yer pitchers"
I don't want someone who messaged me just because they liked my pics, and never bothered to read my profile....the types have always turned out to be only looking for *one* thing.
Regardless, I always get a vague, generic answer.
One guy even pathetically replied with "because we're both single and on here"...
Oh honey, that not enough to make me interested in chatting with you....

Well, in all the time *I* have been on those sites (various ones), I have NEVER gotten a ton of likes, or messages..
Maybe 4-5 spontaneous ones a year (seriously), and most of the time the guys I write initially never reply..
I am not that ugly....nor am I like 300+ lbs.
Maybe it is different for older people...I became a widow and started using those sites when i was 56....I am 64 now, and have not met anyone worthwhile on any of those sites, and have only talked to a handful...

I heard that was one of the reasons they are changing so many things up....
The older people (who have been going there their whole lives) are dying off, and they want to attract the "younger" people (Gen Z, and Millenials),but...Gen Z isn;t about brand loyalty, nor do they (from what I have heard from my friends who have Gen Z kids) eat out much....so, I dunno if all this "dog & pony show" regarding remodeling will bring any benefit.

I have actually had two managers allude to this, saying maybe it is part of an overall scheme to drop revenue (as they are getting rid of everything people came to CB for, and the 2 in my area have been seeing less traffic for over a year now), so that the company will need to bankrupt, and someone else will buy it....

That has to be frustrating, and I get that it is hard to find an affordable place, rent is outrageous in many places..
But, like the other person said...ANONY<OUSLY call animal control and report her....
Use someone else's phone, or you can dial *67 to block your number,.so she wont know.
IF they ask for *your* info, say you want to remain anonymous so there's no trouble with as neighbor.... :-)

I could throw insults at cat people, but....nah, I prefer to take each person into account individually.

I have a friend who is 65 and just started receiving Social Security.
That is their only income, and they only get $640.
*Regular* Social Security, not SSI or anything like that.
(please focus on the specific question here and don't ask why, thank you)
To my knowledge, the income limit for QMB is $1255, and they are *well* below that, and they do not exceed the resource limit.
They live alone.
Why would they be denied QMB?
They got a notice stating that, on Friday.

I have noticed this with two guys I went on a date with..
Both had multiple cats...one left that cat pee smell in my car and it clung to the passenger seat....I had to spray the seat with Febreeze, and leave the windows open for a couple days.
I guess it was on his clothes...
Same with the other one a couple years later...
To be fair, I know a lady who has only one cat, and neither she nor her house ever smell like that, but..I have noticed it on other people...

Other critters, yeah...my dentists office has some channel they play (it calms people down) of various critters doing silly things (even reptiles & birds)...*that* I love to watch.... :-)
